Letter was sent that explains all, basically to deposit the check, take out your pay and send the rest out by Western Union. Later you find out the check is bogus and you are out XX amount of money and owe it to the bank.

Clear Evaluations will never send you money prior to conducting an assignment. We currently do not conduct shops for any money transfer companies. The scammers are getting more aggressive in mailing checks at random. A few months ago, when I posted this scam, they were only mailing checks to those that responded via email. They will instruct you to deposit the check or money order, keep a small portion, and give you a short time frame to conduct the shop at a Western Union sending the remaining money to them. If your bank actually allows the deposit, you will later find that the funds were not approved. If you receive a package we appreciate your reporting this to leslie@clearevaluations.com . Thank you!
