I recently decided to try the new CLEAR Wireless 4 G Internet Service.  I build websites and work with these types of things all the time.  After being told the signal may or may not be strong enough for my location and being told to give it a try, you have a 14 day 100% money back guarantee, I decided to give it a try.  The signal worked, then didn't , then worked , then didn't and kept dropping out. I realized the tower was to far away and it wasn't going to work for me.  So 12 Days later , ( I was sick for a week in between or it would have gone back much earlier) I spoke with the rep at the Clear Internet store who told me to phone Clear directly and they would send me prepaid return labels through my email.  They did and I printed them and sent it back.  Looking at my charge statement yesterday I realized the though I paid 50.29 they only gave back 30.21, so I phoned them to let them know of their error.  They told me it wasn't an error. They said that I declined customer service on the phone to try to help me though I didn't need help.  It was clearly a weak signal (which they said may happen in the first place) and because I declined ( but was never told they may charge me something for declining ) that they were charging me for usage during the trial period.  I used the unit for 15 minutes (of terrible service) realizing it wouldn't work for where I was located.  With todays technology I am sure they know how long I used it.  I am a very honest person and would have taken the blow if I had abused their policy.   I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told that their answer would be the same.  So I told them to keep the 20 bucks.  I also told them that the internet today is an easy way to get someones message across and I would make sure the $20 goes a long way in telling as many people as possible that they are running a dirty and unfair establishment.  So take it for what its worth.  If you try it and it doesn't work, you may get burned too.

Take Care...
