On July 30th of 2013 I purchased a Hauewi wireless internet device from a sales representative named Anna who informed me that she used the device for the same purpose I needed it, to go to school. During the sale she was very occupied with texting some one on her phone who she was trying to sale something to on Craigslist, I know this because she kept  apologizing to me about taking up more of my time because she had to get her phone sold ( I thought that was rude and unprofessional). She told me the internet service and speed were great influencing me to purchase this device. On August 1st of 2013 I used the device and automatically noticed the speed was very slow. I was trying to do my school work on this device and simple tasks that usually took me minutes were taking hours to do simply because the internet was so slow.

On the 2nd of August I went to the kiosk, located in my local grocery store, where I purchased this item and tried returning it so that I could buy better service. I was informed by another sales representative that it just needed to be updated and it would work correctly, I questioned her about it wondering why I would need an update when I just purchased the device and she told me that it just may have not been done upon my purchase. I agreed to let her do the update and try again to try to avoid the inconvenience of finding a new internet provider since I needed to attend school on-line each day. She promised me that I would have good internet now that it was updated. I took the device and tried it out and there was no change, in fact, it was even worse because I kept loosing connection. I went to the kiosk again attempting to return my device and was informed that I may have gotten the wrong update so, again, I let the sales representative update my device.

After a few days of trying I am falling behind in class because I can not afford to sit in front of my computer all day doing homework all day, I have three children and a home to keep. I called and explained that I just wanted my money back because I am not satisfied with my service, I mean I can not use it if it does not work . When I called the manager Samantha explained to me that I will get a refund on my device but not on the service I paid for that month, I was fine with that, which was going to be about $134.

On August 16th of 2013, the day after the call, I went to the kiosk to return my device. I spoke with Anna, who originally sold me the device, I told her I was returning it. She then said she needed the approval of the manager Samantha. Anna then called Samantha over, Samantha was with customers that she just walked away from upon being called on. Anna then explained to Samantha that I was not satisfied with my service and that I wanted to return my device. Samantha preceded to tell me that same thing, that I can only get a refund for the device again I said okay. Samantha then called some one else for approval for my return. While I waited Anna was speaking to me about my return and asking were my reciept is, which is fine, but the tone she took was deffensive and she was being rude. She even accused me of lying! When Samantha was done with her call she told me she could not take my device back because I had it longer than a week, I then informed her that I attempted to return the item twice and I thought they were trying to stall me because no one informed me of this return policy. I know it is my responsibility to look into these things, but it is their responsibility to treat customers fairly. Samantha called her manager back to see if she could change his mind and when she got off the phone she told me that he said to sale my Huawei device on Craigslist! I just walked away because I was emotional as well as frustrated. I do not know what to do.
