Clinician Group has been actively recruiting medical sales reps to represent Clinician Group on a contractual 1099 basis to seel their My-Mind Lab Mental Health Assessment iPad based program.  As of November 2014, they have stopped paying commissions to sales reps for iPad leases and iPad Assessments taken by patients in their client's medical practices and hospitals.

After numersous attempts to rectify the commission non-payments, Gary Youssef, Julie Anne Youssef and other internal employees continusously defer the issue to Zach Cargnino (CFO).  Zach is in charge of paying commissions to sales reps and very rarely returns phone calls or emails to sale reps.  If he does respond, he assures the rep that the "check is in the mail" or "we've had a problem with our payroll company" or several other excuses.  Nobody has taken ownership for this problem and it is an issue experienced by reps all across the country.

Recently an internal employee left the company because he witnessed, first-hand, how the owner Phil Cargnino and his son Zach have been lying to their sales force and other employees.  Phil Cargnino served 18 months of jail time in federal prison and is still serving a 3 year probation for running a scam selling stationary golf carts to golf courses and promising them that lease payments for the golf carts would be reimbursed through corporate sponsor advertising.  The problem was that the corporate sponsors did not exist and Phil and his two partners pockedt the money from the golf course leasing revenues.

It looks like Phil Cargnino is back to his old tricks.  Now his company is recruiting reps to sell their mental health assessment program.  The medical practices pay their credit card bills for the assessments taken by their patients and the iPad lease payments to the leasing companies. Clinician Group is collecting revenue for the iPad assessments and the iPad commissions are supposed to come from the revenue generated by the leasing companies.

The company is keeping the revenues and not paying their sales reps the commissions that are promised and stated in their sales rep agreement. This is a clear breach of contract if there ever was one.

Based on Mr. Cargnino's criminal record and the decietful business practices he and his managers are conducting with their sales reps, my recommendation is stay far away from Clinician Group.

Fell for it

AUTHOR: Fell for it - (USA)

POSTED: Wednesday, April 01, 2015

It all sounds great and even looks great when you sign on with Clinician Group. They do indeed provide great support to thier sales reps and clients to ensure their product continues to be used. And the clients even get what they pay for in terms of an easy to administer mental health test that is reimbursable depending on the situation. This all makes sense as this is how Clinician Group makes their money.

BUT, as a sales rep, you simply wont ever get paid by Clinician Group for your commissions from the assessments clients are running or for the Ipads you set them up with. I worked with CG for 6 months as a sales rep and spent the last 3 of those months hearing every excuse as to the "mix ups" in accounting leading to my commissions not being paid. I never saw a cent.

Trust me, it all looks great and sounds like you'll make a lot of money while helping patients and providing a great service to doctor. GC calls this thier WIN, WIN, WIN approach in their weekly sales cheerleading meetings. But GC is the only one who wins since they get the clients you've brought in, they get the fees from the clients and then they keep all of your commmissions from the sale as well. You will not see a dime!

From the time you spend prospecting, closing the sale, doing the training, implementing the test into the dr's office, waiting for the end of the month billing of the office, and then waiting 3 weeks for the commissions to be calculated so you can get paid...at least 2 months will go by from the point of your first sale. Then you have to deal with the excuses about accounting mix-ups or mail delays, or "let me look into that. All the while you're still bringing new business into the pipeline. Before you relize that it's a scam allowing them to get free sales labor with existing books of business, you've provided CG with months worth of hard work and new clients...and you will never see a dime.

Even if you don't have an existing book of business or sales expereince, CG will sign you on anyway because it makes no difference to them to have one more person out there pushing the product when no one will ever get paid. After people figure it out and leave, they then just move to the next new batch of sales people looking to "help people while making a living". This is why they do thier best to only allow recognized numbers in their meetings, mute all participants, and why they update thier conference dial in number every few months.

I could go on and on about the over promising in reimbrusement levels and the questionalble interpretation of healthcare guidelines but just remember, CG will support you, some doctors will be interested in the product....but you will never see a dime from CG. The picture the paint as they "sell you" on the program is very attractive and you think you will help people, doctors and make money at the same time. But your time is better spent volunteering at a behavioral health facility becuase at least you will be aware that you won't make a living off off your work.

If you want to find out on your own, go for it....but just make sure you file a ripoff report and with the BBB afterwards to make sure others can avoid the scam. Oh and fair warning, Gary, Juile Ann, Zack all seem like the nicest people when you speak to them. They are the type that give sales people a bad name becuase they use their charm to decieve. Scammers.

Partnership with Clinician Group

AUTHOR: Inside informant - (USA)

POSTED: Monday, March 30, 2015

I partnered with Clinician Group in  late 2014, and I’m very glad that I decided to add this to my already jammed schedule.  I was apprehensive initially, b/c I knew I would need some training to get things up & running.  The training, support, & marketing resources have been phenomenal all along.  I was drawn to this business b/c I have a Masters in Psychology and feel passionate about the need for the screening products they offer.

Clinician Group has exceeded my expectations of quality & service every step of the way.  I can hold my head high offering the most “state of the art” assessments that help doctors comply with the ACA Mandates, create multiple revenue streams, while taking far better care of their patients and focusing on prevention & early intervention.

I am continually impressed with how swiftly they respond to the sales team and clients’ requests to make important changes that may reduce the company’s profit, without effecting the product quality or reducing sales commissions.  I feel so positive about my decision to partner w/ Clinician Group that my sibling who is a lawyer has decided that this is the right path for her future as well.

Overall, it’s a Win, Win, Win for the rep, the practice, the patient & the community!
