We found a site on Facebook attached to the website cliqueboxers.com.  I searched for reviews and those that I could find seemed great (obviously they are fake).  The Facebook messages between them and me seemed legitimate and they were quite sincere.  They asked if they could see pictures of my fur babies that I recently lost to cancer and seemed very sympathetic for my loss.  Now I know that they probably wanted the pictures to use for other puppies when people ask to see the parents, like I did, and received pictures of beautiful dogs.  We arranged to pay them $450 for a puppy (Paul) that they had listed on their website and Facebook page.  Although they requested a direct wire to their checking account, I refused and only agreed to pay via PayPal.

I sent the funds via PayPal 2/10 and Paul was supposed to be delivered 2/11 by 6pm.  The morning of 2/11 they e-mailed me a Bill of Sale and Transfer of Ownership and required that I sign and send them back to them in order for them to begin and secure the shipping process and send me an itinerary.  From then on it was just excuse after excuse as to why he could not be delivered.  They then claimed that they could not ship him until 2/14 because that was when the PayPal funds would deposit to their account, and said he would be here 2/15.  When 2/14 arrived, my messages to them would no longer go through, my phone calls were not going through and our puppy that we had already paid for was listed on Facebook again.  We investigated their website domain and e-mail addresses amd sure enough they were newly opened a month ago and the IP was Russian Federation.

When I contacted PayPal, sure enough, the seller was not US and the funds were being converted from USD.  I google mapped the address that they provided that they claimed to live on 3 acres of land with the parents and the puppies are raised inside the home... The address does not exist.  Thankfully I screenshotted all of the messages and archived and forwareded the e-mails to another e-mail, because those have also miraculously been deleted from my accounts.  We started to realize that this was a scam prior to 2/14 and began taking necessary measures to protect ourselves.  I have never purchased an animal from an internet or facbook site, lesson learned.  Do not do business with these people, they don't have puppies, it is a scam originating in Russia.
