Clockwork Home Services has incredibly potent sales meetings that they put on and invite service contractors to.  The service industries that they market to are Plumbers, Electricians, HVAC and Roofing.  The sales pitch they gave me strongly suggested that joining them would explode our business potential.  The upfront fee was, I believe around, $24,000 (which they financed approx $14,000 of and I've still got several years to pay on).  The ongoing membership fee was, I believe $399 per month as well.

After signing up I and another key employee flew to Sarasota, FL for a couple days of orientation.  Motel was on me.  Next we had to go St Louis for specific training modules (The tuition was on several were included in the membership but not the travel expenses and motel).  The first training session taught us how to massively charge our customers and was taught fairly well but actually applying the technics to our specific industry (hail claims roof replacement) did not seem very practical.

The future began to seem more and more loaded with us traveling to all sorts of things around the country and the upside of all the learning (profits) did not come close in my mind to covering the ultra heavy charge burdens of what was to be continually hurled at us in monthly membership fees, traveling, and assimilation efforts to apply the new practices.  On top of all that their program didn't seem like a very sweet fit for our specific industry of hail claim roof restoration.

Upon deciding to cancel only several months after joining RSI reminded us that the balance of the $24,000 would still need to be paid and that we needed to return all materials that we had paid for as non-members thereafter.

I wouldn't mind having paid for several weeks of their services at a solid premium but $30,000 roughly for a 2 day orientation, a couple days sales class and a bit of consultation on a few issues.  Clockworks had maybe 20 manhours invested in us which boils down to $1,500 per hour for a little company that was struggling to make things work before.

My beef is them continuing to hold us for the balance of the initial buy in of around $14,000.  Surely they could live with the $16,000 they had already collected from me.

Sincerely...

Very Dissappointed Clockworks Home Services Customer
