Ordered Sony camcorder HDR-SR11. The list price was $449.99. That was not the best price for the camcorder as I found latter, but it was not highest price as well. I called first to confirm availability of the camcorders in stock and the guy from costumer service assured me that they have plenty enough of the camcorders and they will ship it to me within two days. I completed the order.

When I called them after three days and asked for the status of my order they told me that they do not have camcorders in stock any more and I will need to wait another week when they will receive a new shipment from Sony.

When I called them in one week they told me that it is on backorder and I will need to wait another two weeks. When I asked them if there is some certain date or date range when they are expecting for the shipment from Sony they said they do not know.

At the same time they still have the camcorder HDR-SR11 listed on their website and they still continue to sell it. When I called them and asked about that the guy from costumer service told me that they do not have those camcorders on hands but they sell them in advance.
By reading reports from other costumers about this company it seems that I am not only one who goes through this. So beware of closeoutgenius.com.
