Clovis Marine Dave Flum Very arrogant--very unprofessional--very shoddy work Fresno, California

This is in conjunction to another party who has filed a Rip-Off report on David Flum who owns Clovis Marine, a boat shop in the Fresno, California area.

I also have been badly screwed by Clovis Marine. I have learned a valuable lesson, while I might not get my money back for monies wasted on shoddy and terrible work performed on my boat, I can fight back and tell internet about this creepy group, I can tell anyone and everyone what he did. Reputation of Clovis Marine is very bad along with a reputation of being a shop that over charges and does sloppy work.

I brought my boat in to Clovis Marine to have the stern drive repaired.  unbeknownst to me Flum/Clovis Marine have a terrible reputation in town.  If I had just asked around I would of found that this shop would of been the very last place to bring my boat.  My error in picking this shop but my pleasure is sharing my experience with anyone.

$4,000 later the boat was handed back to me untested. First time in the water I find the back of the transom leaking and all the work paid in cash to Clovis Marine now has to be re done. 

They ripped me off folks.  They were probably laughing their butts off when I left with my boat.

I ran into another man at my new boat shop with the same issues. Clovis Marine charged him an arm and a leg for work that has to be re repaired, does Flum back his work up?

I have recorded conversations with him which is now court evidence.  Their statements to commit felony insurance fraud is now in law enforcement hands.  I was told my Dave Flum's shop to insure my boat and take it out in the water and pull the plug.

That is felony conspiracy to commit insurance fraud which was reported to law enforcement. The boat shops in Fresno know this character well. And they have no issue with backing up their work. I am sure others in the area have been burned by this shop. I would encourage them to fill reports and expose this shop for what they are.
