I got a request to developr a software solution for them. They agreed on the price and statement of work. They approved the prototypes and the final product. There were some changes or new features requests which were all completed. There was never any argument that the work was done and it worked. I went to do a on-site training and that day they gave me 50% of the project price by check. But when I deposit the check, it bounced due to insuficient funds. They apologize and promise to send a new check. They even confirmed they sent it. But as nothing arrived, I asked again, they promise to send it this time and the story starts over again. Until they stopped replying emails and answering the phone.
