CNY Asset Management Sean Corcoran, CNYam Sean Corcoran/CNYam Discrimination,Lies,& Greed Syracuse New York

Caveat Emptor! When it comes to Sleazy Property Managers CNY Asset Management, aka CNY am, Sean Corcoran leads the pack. When the home we lived in for 12-years was condemned by the Health Dept. for Black mold we had 10-days to find housing.

In CNY that's no easy task, as a result mom put us up in her home while we searched for decent housing. Our search led to a Craigslist posting by Cnyam, Sean Corcoran. We met Sean at the property viewed it and provided Sean with credit scores, tax returns, etc; I included pictures of our previous home and garden, references, and proof of income. He briefed the documents and offered us the apartment contingent on a deposit. We gave Sean the deposit and first's months rent a month in advance of our move-in and set a lease signing date.

We showed up for our lease signing at 1:00 pm on the dot, No Sean, It's 90-degrees my elderly mother-in-law gave us a ride. Besides our home being condemned our car had blown a head gasket! When it rains it pours, I called Sean a dozen times to no avail. Sweltering in the heat, concerned about getting to work on time at 2:15 pm Sean finally shows up.

The fact I had already paid Sean and I sat around for a long time had me researching the property and making notes of questions to ask him. We told Sean we have two 12-year-old cats and smoke to verify those conditions wouldn't be a problem, of he stated "No problem" the previous tenant had a pitbull and a cat, the other tenants had cats and dogs. My main concern was that the apartment I paid for in advance was listed in the Real Property tax database as occupied by the owner of the building! That was a deal breaker, I asked Sean if the owner or his family lived in the building. He said no, the owner or his family have never occupied the building. I had been cornered by our first landlords creepy husband as I exited my shower in a towel before and didn't want a potential replay of that very scary scenario.

Move in day arrives we find ourselves sitting in a rental truck without keys and of course no Sean! Two hours and multiple phone calls go by finally Sean calls, no apologies for skipping out he said the keys were on there way. two individuals show up wreaking of alcohol and hand over the keys. We enter the apt. to find it filthy, holes in the walls, a light fixture sconce filled with dead bugs. The worst part is NO SEAN to do a walk through and note the damage from the previous tenant. I photo-documented everything as I sensed we'd be held resposible and bye, bye security deposit.

Sean shows up a week later to tell us we can't smoke in the house and to pay our rent to the LANDLORD's BROTHER ACROSS the hall. The last three years have been filled with the landlord's brother screaming, threatening to "beat people up" and mysterious slit tires, a dent in my Mercedes the first day i brought it home and just about every annoyance you can think of. My favorite is being called a "Drug Dealer because client;s drop off computers, phones, music recordings etc; for me to fix, mix, & work out the ticks. Since Sean was fully aware I work out of our home and clients including my church drop off and pick up their equipment the behavoir is befuddling to say the least.

The last straw came June first of this year when the owner put the building up for sale with the listing broker Sean Corcoran aka CNY am. Five shoiwings were scheduled a written notice was provided as well as a text. Yet when the two Sat. appointments no-showed Sean didn't even have the decency to tell us, we sat around all day instead of enjoying food fest. all because Sean couldn't be bothered to send a text! That pales in comparision to Seans next move, Last thurs. while I was having a medical procedure and my husband was rained out of his work taking a nap in his underwear 4 people used a key walked in our home and embarassed my husband. The potential buyers assure him Sean gave them permission to walk through. Sean never bothered to notify us at all and when i told him next time people don't knock and let themselves in I'd called the police. His response? "So the police find all your drugs"?

Funny thing we have no record of any such behavior. Can't say the same for other occupants in the building. I can prove my doings in my home 24-hours a day because I installed an eight camera security sytem one year ago and have 4 TB of space that i've been archiving footage due to the various "incidences, accusations, and happenings in the building.

Beware Sean Corcoran is great when you're forking over money based on whatever lie he chooses to tell as for customer service he uses gossip from individuals that do have drug convictions to decide who gets treated with the respect they're due. I accept my resposibility for not checking CNY am/Sean Corcoran out better before we paid but should I have to deal with his bad behavoir?
