My daughter who turned 18 three weeks ago was struck by a vehicle as she was crossing in a crosswalk and suffered a mild concussion, broken arm and lacerations. She was subsequently taken by ambulance to the hospital and received medical attention.
The driver of the vehicle was insured through Coast National Insurance and was cited for driving while under suspension and negligence. Current bills not including the ambulance are approaching $2000.
I contacted the Insurance company headquarters and subsequently the following day received a call from Evelyn Murphy the appointed adjuster.
When she insisted that she have a recorded interview with my daughter, I balked . I indicated that I was her father and acting as her agent.
This lady became very abrasive, argumentative and terminated the call...indicating that she wouldn't deal with it.
Like...what the hell? My daughter was injured by their client. The evidence is clear in the police report along with the fault of the accident. Her rudeness and clear desire to get on top of this was breathtaking and clearly wrong.
Do not deal with Coast National Insurance....they are extremely unethical and very unprofessional.
Now I am looking for an Injury lawyer for a no brainer case. Needless to say,
I suspect this company will pay more than what I would have requested on behalf of my daughters injuries.
Clearly, an outfit that needs to go out of business.

Injury lawyer has been employed. The insurance company can deal with them now.

The injury you just talked about happened to my daughter, just the same thing. I tried to find a Attorney to help, just get the medical bills paid and no Attorney wants to help. I think its just not enough money for them.
