Britt Phillips is an independent director for Coastal
Vacations. This report is NOT against Coastal Vacations.

For the record, here is what Britt Phillips wont tell you, in addition to what others have said...
Britt uses his famous line "They thought they could go to bed poor and wake up rich"

That was never our goal. We simply wanted an opportunity where there was good money to be made, and with the proper effort one could produce a lot of money.

The reason Britt Phillips has so many negative reports on him is because of his attitude. Britt Phillips acts...curt, rude and like an a*s.

I left Britt Phillips for a number reasons:

#1 being I didn't want to wind up on the bbb.com myself for doing business like Britt Phillips.

#2 We were calling a prospect and Britt cursed on the phone directed toward the prospect.
Not very professional if you ask me.

#3 In the entire time we worked with Britt Phillips we didn't sell 1 package. Mind you, Britt is the one doing the calling and talking
to prospects, so really HE didn't sell anything.

I believe the reason is because he turns people off with his attitude. It's just the way he is.
We actually joined Coastal AGAIN under a different director, because we wanted to work with a new director and have nothing to do with Britt. We worked with our new director for less then 2 weeks and made director in that time!

We didn't even come close to selling just 1 package when working with Britt.

#4. Britt Phillips uses hype, exaggerated income claims and lies to recruit people into Coastal Vacations. Case in point:
He has a quote on his website: "You can be earning $3,000-$5,000 WEEKLY in a little as 10 days from the day we start working together. And Yes I can prove it to you."

It's very suspicious how that "10 days" is EXACTLY the number of days you have to request a refund from Britt Phillips.
Remember, Britt only accepts guaranteed forms of payment, NOT credit cards, so the chance of getting a refund even if you do request before 10 days are slim.

Ask Britt Phillips the percentage of people he signs up who are making that claimed $3-5K a week. My guess is almost none. I'm not saying there haven't been a few who achieved it, but those that have would have done so without the help of Britt Phillips anyway.

Make a note of this as well. The Better Business Bureau requested BASIC information from Britt about his business, Britt did NOT respond to ANY of the Bureau's requests for nformation. He also COULDN'T and wouldn't provide just 10 names of people who were satisfied with the product he sold them and who are making that reported $3-5K a week.

As to Mr. Phillips claims that his "group" has certain tools and advantages, that's just Britt blowing smoke.

Britt teaches people NOT to attend coastal conference calls or events. He does this to gain more control over people, so they don't learn the "real" Coastal Vacations business. He also has you buy his coastal website which includes all of HIS links on YOUR site, which YOU pay for!

He will also try and sell you on several "enhancements" for your website which he uses to track YOUR own visitors to steal from you!! Incredible but true.

Unfair attack on Coastal Vacations and it's representatives

While this report is deservedly about the bad behavior of Britt Phillips, the subsequent libelous "piling on" is being done by a libelous competitor attempting to malign Coastal Vacations for selfish greed.

I have been a Level Three Platinum life time member of Coastal Vacations Wholesale Travel club since 2007, and have only experienced the best with the directors I have been fortunate enough to meet, especially Stephanie Johnson and Al Romaine.  

My Level Three lifetime membership cost $11,000 and has been worth every penny, and has paid for itself time after time.  Coastal Vacations is a non-profit CLUB and has no "owner".  The board of directors are all club members and serve as volunteers because they believe in the value of the club as do most club membership board of directors. 

I highly recommend Coastal Vacations to anyone I care about who I know wants to enjoy more travel and wholesale prices.  This lifetime membership is a much better value than time share ownership with no hidden fees or increasing taxes and HOA dues.

It is sad to me that anyone can libel anyone or any entity with impunity on the Internet.  If Coastal Vacations and its representatives were the "bad deal" this person alleges, it would not be going strong after over 25 years.  What this person fails to disclose in this unfair attack is that they own a LIFETIME membership in the world's best wholesale travel club and can use the benefits of that membership without limitations and give vacations away to friends, family members and business associates.

Stephanie Johnson knows people are leaving and running from Coastal Vacations. The recent lawsuits are sinking the Coastal Vacations ship!

The Florida State authorities said they have filed a lawsuit. Department investigators said they served a cease-and-desist order against NB Management owner Al Romine while Al Romine was conducting a "training seminar" at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Florida. The lawsuit alleges that Coastal Vacations NB Management for operation illegally, violating the unfair and deceptive trade practices statute. NB Management which is the Coastal Vacations shipping center, faces up to $10,000 for each of the violations involving unlicensed activities regarding the selling of travel.

This is real interesting. I did a search on Coastal to see what is happening as I have not been active with it for some quite time. And the name Brett Philips hit me like a bad dream. I have to say I also had the misfortune of signing up under Brett in 2004. I did so because he claimed to be a Follower of Christ. All I can say is he follows a Christ I don't know. Its a shame he has rubbed so many people the wrong way. I don't think Brett would leave any opportunity behind so perhaps it just his reputation has caught up with him. As the saying goes " what goes around, comes around".

When I posted this answer three and half years ago, I intentionally did not include any contact info, so people would know I stood to gain nothing from my response. Looking back, I guess it would have been helpful for people to atleast be able to ask me questions about my comment. I appreciate your request.

I have now been in Coastal for over 8 years, and luckily the complaints regarding this particular individual seem to have slowed down. I don't know if that means he is no longer doing Coastal, or if he has simply changed the way he treats people. Either way, I am happy to see the decline in complaints. There are others out there who are currently getting them, though, and I guess that will always be the case. There will always be people who misprepresent the business and do not treat their new associates with honor and respect. It is unfortunate, but those of you who are here, on this site, searching things out are the ones who will come out ahead. I applaud you for doing your research and choosing a director carefully.

FS, I'm sure by now you have already joined the business, since it has been over a year since you posted this request. I am sorry I did not see it sooner. But just in case you still have questions, or in case there are others who need answers, I'll post my contact info below.

Coastal Vacations: Scam or Home Business Opportunity?

Coastal Vacations seems to be a very slippery company. The company is not registered with the Better Business Bureau. In fact, there is no way to find any information online about what this company is and who its principals are. Instead, people who do business with Coastal Vacations seem to find themselves dealing exclusively with "distributors" for the company. Unfortunately, these distributors do not seem to be accountable to any higher authority.

This Multi-Level Marketing scheme has left many victims in its wake. Many people have paid large amounts of cash to these so-called "distributors" only to discover that they had disappeared in the night.

When I did some research on this company, I discovered some surprising facts.

Like the previous poster, I too am doing some research on the Coastal opportunity. I appreciate the suggestions given by Stephanie (would be nice to know how to be in touch w/ you) and will take them to heart as I explore this opportunity further. Thank you.

In the meantime, it's interesting to me how at least a couple of people arguing in defense of Britt seem to exhibit some of the alleged character/qualities of Britt (language, tone, self-agrandizing, 'facts'). Makes one wonder, given the various allegations, whether these are 'real' people or not.
Regardless, I certainly agree that a civil, respectful, relationship (personal or business) is essentially a pre-condition for a good relationship. And it doesn't take much research to find warrants for that!

Very Unfortunate

I got my first email about Coastal Vacations and was quite interested. I have been spending most of my day researching. I found Britts website to be very good and I was about to join his conference call today, Jan. 10th at 7pm before I saw his own words.

One thing on his website that did raise a red flag, was how boastful he sounded. I pray that Mr. Britt reassess his tone and really seeks God to get back on track. I'm sure he is a great man in Christ, but looks to me like he has lost his way, as we all can.

Britt make a amends, asks for forgiveness to those you've wrong, do what Jesus would do. Quit trying to defend yourself, as you can't. Be humble and do more for Christ than yourself. Sometimes we all have to be crucified only to be resurrected again better than we were before.

I will not be signing up with you, because I am a very sensitive person and find it unacceptable to swear and to come across so negative.

I have read many of the report listed on this website concerning Coastal Vacations aka whatever name a director gives his/her independent company.

I have to say:

1) There doesn't seem to be any control or responsibility taken by Coastal Vacations concerning their associates (directors) that have sent out to create their own path to riches. Coastal Vacations is profiting from their associates, but refuses to regulate their behavior. Eventually ex-employees and disgruntaled customers will figure out that actions speak louder than words and take legal action against Coastal Vacations and the specified associate company (set up by the director in question).

2) Coastal Vacations should terminate any directors who have been reported for doing unethical business pratices toward the customers or sales representatives in training. Typically for every one person who gets angry enough to submit a report there are five to ten others who just throw their hands up and say you got me and just walk-away from the issue (where there is smoke, there is fire).

3) If Coastal Vacations considers themselves as a whole to be a legitimate, business ethical, opportunity for employement and customer service, than they will have to police the associate companies they send out into the world. If they refuse to police their associates than they are not truly interested in providing excellent customer service or excellent employment opportunities.

One of your employees wrote something about McDonalds and how if you got bad service at McDonalds would you blame McDonalds corporately. I will answer that by saying that McDonalds has been sued corporately for the actions of one misbehaving employee.

Closing note: I am a firm believer in what goes around comes around and the following two thoughts:

1) If you plant good seeds, you will have a good harvest. Conversely, If you plant bad seeds, you will have a bad harvest. You always get more than what you planted, it is up to you which seed you plant.

2) It takes 10 times as many good actions to erase 1 negative action.

I have been in marketing for over 15 years now. Did consulting for people all over the world, owned an advertising company, and have persistantly driven in a multiple 6 figure income for 5 years in a row. My point being here is this: I understand this business better than 99% of ANYONE in it 100% FOR A FACT FACT and for me to pop onto this website and read what I have... "makes me flat out sick" I read this crap about 2 weeks ago and decided to seek out Mr. Britt and see for myself how accurate you all really are. After communicating with him I immediately realized WHY everyone is here talking badly about him. WHY ? Because you are jealous "period". Give me a break for the god sakes...Some of you claim "Oh Britt is not nice and does not know how to treat people" -- hahaha -- Anyone in business who is kicking royal butt..knows 100% for a fact.."Who gives a crap how he acts or how he treats you"
...mannn people wake up -- the bottom line here is..Does Britt know what he is doing ? -- yes Does Britt build you a website ? yes -- Is Britt making money ? yes -- Does Britt make money for HIS SERVICES ? yes and if he didnt then that would be pretty d**n stupid. -- Does Britt answer the phone 95% of the time ? yes -- Does Britt understand how to advertise... in of which you can learn from ? yes... This is all that needs to be understood "period" "HE DOES NOT TREAT ME GOOD" hahaha good god go get a puppy and get a job selling Tom McCan shoes. Britt is doing a great job and that is the bottom line. Is he selling the Coastal Package UNDER what the operation say's you can sell ? no he cares about the Coastal operation UNLIKE this jackass what ever his name was that is selling a CD that has about as much value as my used underwear from high school. BOTTOM LINE -- Wake up people -- STOP AND FORCE YOURSELF to STOP being jealous and STEP UP. Business is about being strong not needing someone to be what you want them to be. Peace

I have been dealing with Mr. Phillips and always says join this co-op network. I have done my own research and there is no co-op. He says he is willing to let me make payments on getting my own website but he is asking $200 which is a total rip off. I wonder where the website be placed at i.e. www.iscrewedyouover.com or www.iseenyoucoming.com

I am a Level 1 and a Level 2 Directors release. He says he is a Level 3 and I have spoken privately with some of the big wheels of Coastal Vacations and to tell you the truth they have heard of him by pulling so much stuff over their eyes. They have told me that he has scammed people for well over $150,000. He says he has been on Television and I have done my research on that as well. Yeah he has been on TV alright. The TV show called America's Most Wanted. Yes, I have called AMW about him and they did tell me the case has been closed. You see I have inside connections as to America's Most Wanted (John Walsh).

Plus here is something else....

He asked me if I was a gay man or a l*****n. I said I am gay man (which I am) and he said also he can not deal with "FAGGOTS". I literally slammed down the phone in his ear.

I found this site to be very helpful as I have been considering Coastal Vacations and HAVE been considering a variety of directors.

This Britt Phillips seems to sell an awful lot of 'extras' for high fees. I have yet to see any results of anyone -anywhere.
Britt defends his FACTS and the last gentleman that rebutted, Lance Groom, added his FACTS in support of Mr. Phillips.

Britt explains in his rebuttal:
FACT
"Karl I am a very positive person. I am loved by God. I have a beautiful woman in my life who loves me very much. I have a healthy son going to a top rate private college. I live in a half million dollar home. I drive my car of choice. I make great money every week. What in the world do I possibly have to be negative about?"

interesting...then Lance Gordon replied in Phillips defence (obviously did not read the whole page)
" I spent $1,000's of dollars with Britt over the past few years but we always new that every technique might not work however, Britt and I would learn together. Yeh, he can be upset at times but you need to remember don't take it personal. He has a big beautiful home and a morgage not like those apartment dwellers like me. SO....which is it?
Has a son and a woman in his life
or girlfriend and a daughter?
hmmmm? a simply fact that should not two answers....so what about all the other FACTS
Mr. Groom, you spent so much money and time and you do not seem to know Mr. Phillips like you think. RED FLAG
This business does not to have and checks and balances and seems to be a big free for all- everyone does their own thing, no matter what.

Dear readers,

Please understand this... alot of what you see here is personal attacks on people like Britt Phillips because they expect Britt to run their entire business groups and lives for them. He can't possibly do that!

When Britt and I met years ago we both had hot heads when speaking to each other. Point blank, Britt doesn't take any "BULL" nor excuses because he has worked so hard and has worked in secret and top secret communities. I should know as I was a Naval (SF) washout. I have also lost my businesses and family because of my past attitude towards people.

Coastal Vacations or any opportunity requires hard work but can eventually get a lot easier when you properly develop a group. You need to plug into people like Britt and run with it. If you have a problem you need to be men and women about it and go to your director or in this case Britt and apologise. More than likely if you are nice he will take you back and help you.

I feel bad for the way I have spoken about Britt, Don Lapre, and myself for that matter in the past. Britt has a good heart he just can't manage the entire coastal network. He gives you the tools and allows you to get back with him and ask questions. I spent $1,000's of dollars with Britt over the past few years but we always new that every technique might not work however, Britt and I would learn together. Yeh, he can be upset at times but you need to remember don't take it personal. He has a big beautiful home and a morgage not like those apartment dwellers like me. He has to divide his time with everyone including his girlfriend and litle girl. Please let's make it a point to start cleaning up these forums.

Remember I am not taking sides here however, weather heaven or hell I would put my life in Britt's hands. That boy is an operator. He served as quite an intellence informer to our troops in his times. He was the eyes and ears for our soldiers and operatives. He has helped many people resolve, protect, and start to put their lives back together as a (PI) Private Investigator. He has also helped many make a lot of money accross the world.

LIES will never beat FACTUAL information.

Karl the only thing that is posonous to this great business is YOU. And I am not the only one that thinks so. You have sold your CD to many who in turn call me up after they realize you are never going to help them. They are looking for someone to teach them the business and they sent YOU $4,000. on your promise that you would be there for them. Why do I get so many of these calls about you Karl? Why do these people all say the same thing? I could understand if it were a few who got into the business under the wrong expectation or that didn't want to work the business, however all of these people say the same thing. They can get you on the phone anytime before they send their money, however after you get their money they can't reach you for weeks at at a time and a recent guy you sold the CD to Joseph had to wait 30 days and then block his number just to get you on the phone.

Karl I am a very positive person. I am loved by God. I have a beautiful woman in my life who loves me very much. I have a healthy son going to a top rate private college. Could it be Karl that I side with the company in believing that you shouls stop lying to people and selling them a CD that is not approved or authorized by Coastal? You bet it is! I do not agree with what you are doing because it misleads people into thinking you are some how above the rules and company policies which of course is outrageously FALSE! You are no better than the rest of us. You just have conveinced yourself that you are. And the only reason you have a problem with me Karl is that I warn people with the FACTS which will always outweigh your blatant LIES and some of them have been smart enough not to send you $4,000. for a plain CD without as much as a label. You don't even send people their package! This is not even legal!!!

All anyone needs to do is visit my website (computermillions.com) and watch Leonard in one of my video testimonials to see how he feels about me and working with me. And as far as what you call my ego, ego has nothing at all to do with this. I am stepping forward in defense of the company and the poclies they have in place to prevent you from lying to people and taking their money. This and this alone is why you have a problem with me. If you were working this business honestly and doing right by people, I would not have any issue with you in any way. I belive there is plenty of money to be made for everyone in this business. If I didn't I would certainly not be training people and showing them how to build their own Coastal businesses.

Karl my Coastal website that me and my group uses is the only one with video testimonials from some of the many I've taught how to make serious money in this great business. I do not need to take testimonials from anyone else's site. Where are your video testimonials from people you have personally helped find success in Coastal?

I give more of my time then any other director I know. I am personally available from 9am to 9pm EST Mon. - Sat. 9 times out of ten when anyone calls I pick up by the second ring. I am here because I say I will be. I do not hide like you do and refuse to answer my phone. Karl you have a history of not being available after people send you their money. If you would like to go here you had better be careful because they are already lining up. And as far as my bashing other directors goes, I have no reason to say anything against any other director as long as they are working the business according to the company polcies and are not misleading people in an effort to extract money from them like you are doing. I always give the facts when asked about other directors. I have been in Coastal for a very long time. And if someone calls me and asks about another director who has only been in the business for six months, I am going to say that because it is a fact. If they mention your name I am going to tell them what you are doig is against the company policies because it is and you clearly know that is also a FACT. And I don't need to say anything to try and make me look better as you put it. People can spend time on my site and see all the solid PROOF they need to make an intelligent decision. I talk from the heart and always to the point. I will help anyone I can. There was a time Karl I would have given you the shirt off my back if it would help you. That time has passed because you are trying to cheapen the Coastal program and have thrown away any repsect I ever had for you as well. You are simply a person who is trying to get involved with as many programs as you can and make as much money from whomever you can along the way. You do not work with anyone and there are many people lined up who will confirm this. Your autoresponder letters pitch multiple programs every day and these things are very clear rewd flags to anyone who will simply step back and ask themselves whether or not they really want to get involved with someone who thinks of them as a number as you do. I think of people as people and because of that I work with them and do all that I can to help them. You on the other hand take their money and refuse to even answer the phone. You call it BABYSITTING to have to work with people and this is so wrong on many levels.

Frankly speaking I am now embarrased to be associated with you in any way and I would like to publically ask you to remove my recording from your site. I do not wish to be associated with you in any way as long as you continue to break the rules and take people's money in the process.

Karl we are both children of the God I love very much. And I can assure you it never has been my intention to stab you or anyone else in the back. However there comes a time when the FACTS must be told and Karl deep down you know what you are doing is wrong and for several reasons. I would like for you to point out anything you feel is not factual. I will gladly offer a rebuttal with proven facts. You can try and pull the wool over people's eyes with your psychobabble and claim I am angry, frustrated, and full of malice, but just remember, it may work for you to keep telling these things to yourself and convincing yourself of something but it doesn't work on me. And I suspect it will not work on others as well.

For anyone reading this message. If you not yet sent Karl Jacobsen your money for the CD, do NOT do it. If you do you will quickly realize it comes with no help and you are going to have a very hard time getting past the fact that the company will not honor any directors release with Karl Jacobsens name on it. The process has already begun to invalidate these releases.

If you have already sent Karl your money then you are entitled to a refund since you were sold the CD under false pretenses and it was not approved by the compay and that it violates the company policies.

And Karl if and when such time you come to your sense and decide to start working the business fairly and honestly, I will extend my hand out to you and look you in the eye and tell you that my only intention here was to see you be fair and honest with the people you sign up in the program. Until you can do that, I have to step back and choose not to associate with you as it is not a responsible thing that you are doing.

And your latest stunt of putting on a seminar with the guise of offering 10% to the Tsunami relef fund is nothing more than an attempted cover for your deception. You will be stunned to learn that you just may have more then you bargained for in the audience. That's a little inside scoop I'll leave for you to realize soon enough. My advice for you is to conduct the seminar by offering the Coastal program the right way and not to mention your CD. All I can do is offer the advice. I can't of course make you heed it. Some people unfortunately have to learn life's lessons the hard way.

Britt Phillips has Proven Poisonous to Individuals Searching for Success in Coastal

I have to reiterate the cautions above regarding the negative and abrasive attitude of Britt Phillips. On numerous occasions he has interfered with my Coastal prospects and Directors and sent them into a spiral of negativity.

Britt Phillips is a man that I respected at one time. When Leonard Grant first introduced him to me, he came highly referred. I was soon to learn however that his ego would get the best of him and his ability to cooperate with others disappeared.

I have had numerous reports of people who have come back to me saying, "You should avoid talking to that guy at all costs! He's a very negative and arrogant snob." It turns out that he has not only ripped off people's money, but what's worse he has ripped off people's website testimonials, and bashed other directors in an attempt to make himself look better!

What he fails to realize is that, "Britt, when you sling mud, you lose ground." Be sure if you are going to get involved with Coastal that you do your due diligence and LOOK for a director that truly cares about your success and not just about his bottom line.

Fortunately, whatever eneergy he puts out there is going to come back to Britt, because, ultimately the universe is the ultimate accounting system! I tried my best to work in cooperation with Britt, I even interviewed him for my MLMSuccessLibrary.com trying to get him to bring forth the good side that I know he like everyone else, has...

All he did, in response is back stab me every chance he got, giving people false information and attempting to discredit me with lies and negative garbage. All I can say, is..."I truly hope that a good force can come into Britt's life and help him out of the dark storm of anger, frustration and malice that he has so inextricably caught himself up in."

Good Luck to you readers. If you have already been stung by this guy, forgive him and release him. It will prove to be the best way to move forward with a good attitude. If you have not yet been stung by him, simply beware. He's poisoned many a well in his time. Hopefully, you'll have a chance to drink pure water from a different source.

After have amazing success in Coastal Vacations for well over six years, I've seen many come and go. As with any business opportunity there will always be people who roll up their sleeves and get to work to build their business, and unfortunately people who do absolutely nothing with it. This is true in every opportunity program there is.

I've had the good fortune to meet some really great people, many of them face to face. In fact at the time I write this (10/04/04) I'm in the process of preparing a brand new Coastal Vacations web site. It will include several VIDEO testimonials of people I've taught how to make lots of money in the Coastal Vacations program.

Common sense tells any logical person that these people are not going to fly thousands of miles at their own expense to meet with me unless they are happy with me, Coastal, and the success they are having.

So to those who make up lies about me, Coastal, or any other business opportunity, I suggest they direct their energy into making money instead of excuses.

At the end of the day I'm still going to be making lots of money and helping many others do the same. Meanwhile those who love to bash, hate, and lie unfortunately will continue their actions and remain broke and frsutrated as a result.

The bottom line is that Coastal is an awesome program but ONLY if you WORK it! This is why I tell everyone without exception before they make up their mind to join... You can not go to bed poor and wake up rich. You have to put in effort and be consistent.

My group now enjoys a national advertising coop reaching 14 million people each month, an automated voice broadcast system which allows 500 people to be called in less than 10 minutes, private conference calls for FREE, an incredible Coastal tools section complete with DVDs and so much more.

There is one simple reason why thanks to Coastal I was able to get out of a little 800 sq. ft. duplex apartment to a custom built 6,000 sq. ft., almost half MILLION dollar dream home. And it's NOT because I lied to anyone along the way like the liars who post these hate messages would have everyone belive. It's because I put in the time, energy and effort required to make it work. I refused to give up and as a result I made it.

I've been burned by other programs. I've failed at lots of them. But I didn't blame others for it. And I certainly did not make up lies and post them on the web.

So in closing I would say to anyone thinking of joining Coastal, simply ask to see the proof. Ask any director you are considering working with to show you proof of success and also to speak with people they've taught how to have success and make significant income. Successful directors can easily do both.

Tips to avoid getting ripped off by bad Coastal Vacations directors

I applaud you for not giving up. SO many people get hooked up with bad directors and end up quitting out of frustration. Kudos to you for not letting this guy affect your business permanently! :-)

To everyone else reading this, I want to say - SUPPORT IS EVERYTHING!!! Choosing the right director when youa re getting into Coastal is essential to your success and momentum.

Here are a few points I want to make about searching for the right director with Coastal Vacations:

1) Just because someone has a snazzy webpage.... that's no reason to assume they are truly successful with Coastal, or that they can teach you how to be. Websites can be created and slapped up onto the web virtually overnight, and pictures mean nothing.

I've known people (in MLMs, especially) to test-drive a Mercedes, go into a nice neighborhood, park in front of the biggest house they can find, get out and take their picture in front of it.... just to make it look like it's theirs. In my opinion, if someone has to "flaunt" their wealth to get your attnetion, they are usually jerks anyway.

2) ASK FOR REFERRALS!!!! Before you choose a director, make sure they are willing to give you some proof. Not copies of checks (people can fake those)... you need phone numbers of 3-5 people they have trained so you can call and ask about their integrity, their teaching style, and generally how easy they are to work with. **THIS IS SOOOOO IMPORTANT!!!**** You learn success by following a good teacher. If they really are a good director, there will be happy people that are willing to talk to you. The feedback will be good. If they won't offer to allow you to talk to their directors..... RUN.

3) Do ***NOT*** be suckered by "deal-makers". Anyone who has to make you a deal to get your business is obviously desperate. If they were making all the money they claim to be making, would they be so desperate as to need to bend the rules to get your money? Certainly not.

If they themselves do not follow the marketing plan, how can you expect them to teach YOU how to follow the marketing plan? They can't. I've been with Coastal for over 5 years, and I've seen it over and over again.... it's so sad. If you come across a director selling the packages for less than $1295, offering to "cut out" your training sales, or worse yet, just selling you the director's release.... ***RUN*** . Those are the surest sign of a bad director.

4) Don't fall for the "extras". Yes... it's nice if they offer a lot of nice tools to help you succeed, but NOT IF THEY CHARGE FOR THEM. That is a pet peeve of mine. I have been training people for years, and I don't charge people for access to my extras. If the director you are investigating was really making all the money they say they are making selling packages, would they really need to sell cds? or websites? NO. They would be generous and kind because rthey are already making great money and want to help others so the same.

I got started over 5 years ago with a director who was so busy that he really didn't have much time to train me. He made a few calls with me, and that was it. I didn't even own a computer, and I had to rely on the training I could get from listening to the training and conference calls. I learned everything I needed to know from plugging into the system.

If the director you are looking into steers you AWAY from the official company conference calls or seminars.... put your wallet back in your pants. You do not want to work with someone who is afraid for you to talk to anyone else in Coastal... what are they hiding? Al does a great job on the nightly conference calls, and he has for years. SO why would they want to pul you away? Not for any reason of merit.

BOTTOM LINE - Coastal Vacations is a great opportunity. It has allowed me and my husband to be home with our 3 kids for over 5 years. The money is really great. BUT..... don't let your enthusiasm for Coastal cloud your judgement in choosing a director. The choice could zseriously affect your success. TAKE YOUR TIME. Talk to as many directors as you can. Find one you are comfortable working with. Someone with real integrity. It's worth the extra effort. Don't join up with just anyone... your financial future is in the balance, and this could make the difference between making thousands weekly and making zip.

Hope this helped. If even just ONE person reads this and it keeps them from jumping in with the one of the scammers on theinternet, then my time in writing this was worth it. I truly believe that Coastal is the best home business opportunity out there, and I wish you all the success you deserve in your new business.
