I first purchased software from Coffee Cup in 2006, I made several purchases over the years after that.
Today(10-9-14) I tried to get access to update the software and was denied access. When I asked why, I was told I would need to re-purchases all the software I had already bought and that the conmpany only had record of one purchase, my first in 2006.
When I purchased the software in 2006 I also purchased lifetime up dates to the software. The company now says they do not have to honor the life time updates. After I complained the company closed my account and is deneying me access.
The VP of something or other a Mr. Sewordasky was very rude and dared me to contact a lawyer.
I don't have time to make an issue out of $135.00 worth of lousy software .. But this company is in my opinion nothing but rude theives.

The response from this company representive is completly and totally a lie. My first purchase with Coffee Cup Software was in 2006 and the last purchase was in 2012. I paid with my credit card and I have records of ALL the purchases, that totaled $135.00.
I have only had one account with this company. I did have them update my email address in 2012 and that seemed to screw up their system, as now their records seem to show I had multipul accounts. The Coffee Cup customer service rep is calling me a liar, crazy and has asked me "what I am smoking". And he tells me I need to log in under an old email address, that I no longer have, that I had them update in 2012.
I just wanted access to what I have purchased, a life time of software upgrades for the software I purchased from this company.
So far the customer service rep seeems to have gone out of his way to be annoying, rude and a*s-holeish to me. He seems to want to turn this into a personal fude instead of a business problem that needed to be worked out.
Summary:
Coffee Cup Software is a company that will not keep it's promise for lifetime updates (even though I paid for them).
Coffee Cup Customer service seems to be totally incompetnt, not being able to keep track of one account. I was a repeat cistomer over several years.
Coffee Cups Customer Service appears to be some rude 14 year old with a bad attitude.
If you have a dispute with the Coffee Cup Software company, they just close your account and are rude to you.
I am looking into further steps that I can take to recover what I purchased

This is completely inaccurate and kinda suprising to us. Customer purchased software in 2012 for $19 (not the $135 claimed) but he was never denied getting upgrades. He simply was logging in under the wrong email address to access his past purchases. We even provided the email address in which to login as to access his purchases and merged it with the new account. All he had to do was click a link and would have had everything restored.
