On 7/28, Ja Ja Ball (President) entered into a 3 month advertising campaign with AmericasBestFranchises.com (ABF) with a prepaid agreement total of $2700.  ABF received a check in the amount of $2700 and proceeded to create the online brochure for Colbert Ball Tax.  ABF created and activated the brochure with minor adjustments also on 7/28.

On 8/6 and having already delivered 15 or so franchise inquiries, ABF received notification that the check was returned for Insufficient Funds.  Mr. Bill Bradley (CEO of ABF) as well as myself have attempted multiple times with voice messages as well as emails to notify Mr. Ball (as well as Mr. Jordan in Accounts Payable) of the problem with absolutely no response.

We also contacted several of our direct competitors (FranchiseDirect.com, FranchiseSolutions.com, etc) and were notified that they too have had similar past issues with payments made by Colbert Ball Tax.

While we typically do not file complaints with Ripoff Report as most clients will respond in some form or fashion with explanation and intent to make payment, they have ignored our repeated phone calls and emails and appear to show no interest in resolving the matter.

Any advertising sources thinking about entering into contracts with Colbert Ball, beware!
