I hired Chad Cole to remove an existing roof and replace it with a new roof. I was required to pay half of the balance upfront. After they finished the job the roof looked horrible. The lines were completely uneven, the end cuts didn't look good and there were dozens of nails showing and there were tar footprints all over the roof. It was so bad we required him to hire a building inspector. We found out it was worse than it looked. First, he didn't remove the first roof like we contracted him (how would he not know we would check?!). The roof failed inspection for the following reasons according to the inspector report: 

Inspection report:

1- all gables need to be sealed properly

2- Rake shingles need to be cut and (2) sides added to , and cut even .

2- (1)  Pipe boots need to be installed

3-  Exposed nails need to be sealed properly

4-  Chimney needs to be sealed properly .

Instead of fixing anything, Chad Cole left. The inspector called me and told me the roof was beyond repair and had to be removed. When I called Chad, he promised to refund me my money but then disappeared. He refused to answer phone calls and even took down his website for a week. Chad said he hired another crew to do our roof and they screwed up and not him. Come to find out , he advertised on Craigslist to do my roof (we have a screenshot of the craigslist ad). The roof was so bad it caused water damage in my house and over $400 of siding damage was done (new siding was just put on!). It costed us over $1300 to remove the roofs and several thousands to put a new roof on. He has forced me to retain an attorney and file a lawsuit. 

Needless to say, do not hire CW Home Improvements, Chad World Roofing and Home Improvements , Chad Cole and whatever name he goes for. He's advertising everywhere on Craigslist and is cheap but he will rip you off. He's unethical and liar and should be taken out of business. I wish I would have spent a little more money for someone reputable.
