This was a letter to try to collect a debt made on my credit card 0n 9/22/15. My credit card company suspected fraud, called to confirm this transaction and the transaction was denied and not paid.  On July 5,2016 I received a collection letter for an overdue balance of $89.77 for Encante Eye. This was the same transaction that Chase VISA had notified me of and I confirmed I had not ordered .   Do I ignore this or respond in writing within 30 days of the dispute of the validity of the debt.  They say they will obtain verification or a copy of a judgement.  I assumed this was settled a year ago with the credit card company. I did not use my credit card to purchase this online.  Someone had my number fraudulently.
