Collective Point of Sales- Elavon Ripped me off with Debit terminal Toronto Ontario

I started using Collective point of sales about 3 years ago (which I guess is now called Elavon). When I bought my very expensive debit terminal for my small business, they gave me the option between buying it or renting it. He said the debit terminal if bought out right would be good for about 10+ years. So of course I decided to buy it instead of renting. There was some issues along the way (my fees were taken out more times then agreed on, fees that weren't agreed on etc).

Anyways, about a month ago, I get a phone call that we need to buy a new debit terminal since they are upgrading their system. After explaining my situation and how they said it would be good for 10+ years, they just let repeating themselves about how we need to purchase a new terminal, or I will need to switch companies. I desperately wish I had done more research on this company before putting my business in their hands.
