My son goes to MTSU and rented an apartment at College Park Apartments. He lived there for over 2 years with his dog with no complaints. This was testified to by the Manager ,Terry Cline in court. He got one complaint about his dog not being on a leash. Instead of a request he keep him on a leash, they sent him a letter saying the dog had to go. Within the 14 day window, and his lease had expired, he gave them a 30 day notice that he would be vacating. After this, they filed a "Detainer Warrant" to evict him, SEVEN DAYS BEFORE THE END OF THE MONTH!!!!!!! He was leaving on the 30th, they took him to court to have him removed on the 23rd. This was all just a way to get him to pay attorney fees. HE DID NOT OWE ANY BACK RENT!!!! Just the current month. WHAT A SCAM!! They lost the attempt to evict him, BUT, HE had to pay attorneys fees! Attorneys fees for what? Now, he hasn't even moved out and he has to go BACK TO COURT, in case of damages. IN OTHER WORDS, THEY ARE SUING HIM FOR DAMAGE TO THE APARTMENT THAT DOESN't EXIST! HE HASN'T EVEN MOVED OUT YET! Jean Merideth Cline runs MMC Properties, her husband is the Manager at College Park, and her son runs the MMC Properties office! STAY AWAY FROM THESE PEOPLE AND THIS COMPANY! This includes Center Point Apts, Charleston Hall APTS (Smyrna, TN), Northfield Commons APTS, St Andrews APTS, Summer Creek APTS, The Summitt APTS, and Hamlet Square APTS, all in Mufreesboro, TN (except Charleston Hall).

Taking pictures is an excellent idea (video is good as well) but it would be even better to have a person in the picture who is holding the front page of a local newspaper! This will prove beyond any doubt that the pictures were taken on or after the date of the newspaper.

Make sure your son takes pictures of the apartment on teh day he leaves so they can not come back and say he did damage, he will have the pictures to prove it
