For painting worked performed for since June 2014 thru til present I have been responsibile for of about approx. $20K in painting revenue for completion of jobs.
My last pay check was received week prior to July 21, 2014 as a cash payment. We are now on third day of August 2014 & I am owed 2 paychecks & bonuses at this point. What is amazing is from monies collected to pay a few employees maybe $2K is just amazing, in this day & age of all this electronic currency means everyone has.
I find it funny that this is a nationwide issue, as explained to me by regional director today8-2-2014 & just a corporate way to control employees, & promise that they will get paid & this happens alot. I can guarantee you it does not happen to the CEO of any organization, it only occurs to people that do the actually labor to make the top the money, because with out the bottom, there is no top.
NEVER BUY INTO ANYTHING ANYONE FROM THIS ORGANIZATION SAYS, & AVOID HAVING THEM DO WORK ON YOUR HOME, BECAUSE YOU WILL BE SORRY IN THE NEAR FUTURE!!! WITH THE ENTIRE JOB FAILING, DUE TO BEING INEXPERIENCED IN INDUSTRY.

After discussion with Nick C. GM of Region for CPP I was assured that week of July 21, 2014 payroll would be addressed by today, & at 2:20 PM EST has not been addressed or received as promised from two previous conversations.
DO NOT EVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS UNETHICAL SCAMMING COLLEGE PRO PAINTING COMPANY ANYWHERE THEY ARE LOCATED, ESPECIALLY GARY CRAWFORD FRANCHISEE MADISON, MIDDLESEX COUNTY & NEW HAVEN COUNTYS CONNECTICUT.
TRULY UNETHICAL BUSINESS PRACTICES ALL THE WAY AROUND, FROM NOT REALLY KNOWING INDUSTRY, TO CRIMINAL STATE OF CONNECTICUT WAGE & HOUR FEDERAL LAW VIOLATIONS.

Upon being hired by franchisee G. Crawford - CPP : was told "PAYDAY" is EVERY TUESDAY.
July 21, 2014 paycheck being received end of first week of August 4, 2014 VIOLATES AGREEMENT of Tuesday paydate, & STATE OF CONNECTICUT WAGE & HOUR LAWS, in terms of proper payment for hours worked due employees.
This is also CRIMINAL! & Charges can be filed once The Attorney Generals Office is involved, after the investigation requested is completed
AS A COMPLETE INVESTIGATION HAS BEEN REQUESTED, TO PREVENT ANY FURTHER ABUSE TOWARDS OTHERS & OUR COLLEGE STUDENTS FUTURES WITH THIS INTERNATIONAL SCAM THAT CPP operates here in CT & is seen to BE 100% ABOVE BOARD, since withholding wages is also punishable with criminal sentences by person responsible for payment of said wages.
Mind you general manager stated Saturday, This happens all the time across the country with payroll...."chuckle,chuckle"...
CPP should be ashamed of it selves taking advantage of green college students, & having them not pay the crew, that made the company $20K +in completed contracted work, since mid June 2014 til present, in the Madison, New Haven County Area. This sounds like no reason not to pay employees to me, regardless of 30% Royalty to parent company in Canada, suppiles to paint stores, monies for gas for franchisee, etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...etc...
This is just ANOTHER CORPORATE SCAM TO EXPLOIATE THE AMERICAN WORKER, & brainwash college students to bring home the bacon for the company, & the hell with the crew that does the work.
Perhaps if franchisee did'nt was money onn BMW, tints, bedroom set, new place to live all within a week, he could of had the funds available to pay employees, in which is the responsibility of franchisee, even as discussed with CP corporate, & useless gm, that passes the buck!
ONLY IN AMERICA, but wait CPP is in Canada operating in US somehow?????

I have looked into this issue upon receiving notification this morning of the situation. The first check will be coming on August 5th and the second check will be coming by August 8th.
Our manager paid for the payroll last Friday after business hours and elected to have his checks shipped via overnight delivery. The Frist check will be shipped this morning and the second check will be shipped this coming Thursday.
