Collins College Formally Al Collins Graphic Design School ripoff Kept my left over loan money Tempe Arizona

I attended Al collins Graphic Design school in 1993
I saw the Tv Commercial and decided to call them.
I went down to the priest loaction which was all they had at that time. the admissions person was like a car dealer looking back I was admitted in just days later. I was in school for about a month when people started quiting school? I asked arround to people that were thinking of quiting they said the school had lost its accreditation due to school loans not being payed back.

I decided to get out before i had too much to payback. my friend attended the school and went to the office with his concerns and they talked him into staying telling him he was the one with the talent and drive. to make a long story short they kept money from 2 of my loan checks how they did it was they said that i needed to sign the checks so my balance could be paid and they would refund the rest back to the student loan originator. Regardless it never happens and I had to pay it all back.

17 monthes later

After my friend payed his 18K+ and was graduated he could not find a job.now is currently divorced and working for a car dealer detailing cars and hates it. after 11 years he is still paying for a useless piece of paper.

2 years later after long days and weekend of learning the Demo Versions Of Photoshop, Ilustrator, Pagemaker, Quark, Various 3d programs. I assembled a portfolio of work and landed my first job as a layout artist, now I do lots of freelance Design, prepress, Web Design, Multimedia, Video,Tutoring Videos and Posters my work is all over the Web as well as print. Eventually, I might need a degree but right

I make over 85K+ Residuals so i am not too worried.
Drive and determination go as far as you push it.
I trained 2 friends who were in dead end jobs they work
for me for 1 year and built portfolios on the side. they currently work for other companies in the bay area at 35-40K a year.
