Colon Cleanse M.D. bogus trial period and wrong number to cancel Davies Davie Florida

First, I tried to call the number this company gave to my bank when they charged my card-- I got a wrong number recording. I got another number online.

Is it legal to state a "trial period" but not give the consumer the stated amount of days to TRY the product? In their terms statement it says, "days of availability for actual usage could be less depending on shipping time" Am I to assume that the date of shipping (Sept.2) is the start of my 14 day trial period? Well according to Craig (supervisor is spoke to) they started my trial date from August 30th the day that I placed the order. They charged my credit card on September 13th. To me, the dates don't add up.

When calling them back I spoke to John (emp#999385) who confirmed that they start the trial period on the day of order and not the date of shipping, therefore shipping could occur 5 days later, it doesn't matter, the trial period starts on the day of the order and is NOT depended on the shipping time.

If anyone can shed some light on this situation and how one goes about calculating the trial period, I'd appreciate it. Also, who do I go to to report this dishonest practice?
