Colon Cure, Green Tea, NuBodi Unauthorized Charges!! Deceptive Practices!! Internet Fraud!! Las Vegas Nevada

On May 5th, 2008 we received an e-mail promoting a free 14 day trial of Colon Cure.

Our only cost would be shipping for only $1.50 (not the $3.95 others have paid). We received the trial product approx. 9-10 days later. I decided to check the internet for reviews, before taking the product. All I found was bad, bad, bad! We were not aware of any terms prior to my research. We never checked any boxes, there was never any "read terms / agreement", nothing indicated we would be charged more than the $1.50 we agreed to.

I contacted the company on May 16th (repeated attempts) and told them to cancel any future shipments they were planning and that we will not authorize any additional charges to our card. On May 31st, they charged our card $89.31 anyway! I called the company first thing Monday morning (repeated attempts again) I was informed that my cancellation was never processed and they would be shipping another bottle in 3-5 days. I told them to not ship the product, and to reverse the unauthorized charges. I was told that they could not stop the shipment , they do not "refund", and that I did not "cancel" prior to my 14 day trial (of which I did, they just had not "processed" it as of 2 weeks later).
We went to our bank and filed an unauthorized / fraud affadavit, cancelled our card, and will now be awaiting to see if our account will be credited.
Oh yeah, they used the company name "Green Tea" to charge the $89.31, and used the name "NuBodi" when they charged the $1.50.

I sympathize for anyone that conducts business with these people. They are truly the consumers worst nightmare...Beware!!!
