Colonial Freight Systems CFS Lied, misrepresented themselves, stole Knoxville Tennessee

I responded to a Job Ad stating "Home every weekend, earn $1100 -$1300 weekly" I called and verified being told I would haul bannanas from port in TX to IN and back, taking me through my home in Conway, AR and I would be leaseing my own truck. I asked how many miles must I drive to pay for truck and was told 600 miles a week!  I asked if I could unhook from trailer and secure with king pin lock and bob tail truck home and told, yes!

I got on bus and arrived in Knoxville to attend orientation.  We were picked up at hotel at 6:30 am taken to Clinic for DOT physical! Then on to classes, we were provided lunch and that was all.  The first day I found out I had been lied to on the phone and the ad.

But I didn't have money to get a bus ticket home!  I needed a job! We were in orientation all week, finger prints, photos, how to plan where to buy fuel for the best prices! Informed that they were their own Insurance Company!  How convienient!

On Friday we were rushed through the process of signing a lease and getting our keys to our new truck and given a dispatch that would take us home to get our gear!  It was a rushed frenzy and not given any time to read what we were signing!  8 weeks later I quit and returned truck in better condition than when I got it, expecting to get my escrow money and pre pass deposit refunded total $450  they said i had to wait 45 days for final settlement!  Now they are saying I owe them $1426.98!!!  Which is impossible!!!  It took me driving to CA from Nashville one way just to pay them and I got NOTHING! Then they took their time getting me a return trip for same week where I could make a little after fuel!

Then the Pres of Company, herself lied to me when I asked for help getting a rental car home.  She said "We don't have an account at any of the car rental places" The next day after sleeping on truck on their lot I went in and begged for them to help me rent a car and I paid them $379 upfront and guess what????  They do have an account at Enterprise!!!
