On or about March or April 2005, I was looking online at different cars and suv's, and in order to get a price i had to fill a form out. Which I did.
About 4 or 5 dealers called me and when I told them I didnt want to purchase right away and was just looking and requested a price, and in order to get that i had to fill out the form. I then told them I was not interested.
I, also told this to Colonial Volkswagon. You would think I owed them money, which I do not. They continued to call me 3-6 times a day on my cell phone...everyday...every week, every month. They do not take NO for an answer. They do NOT take I am turning you into the Better Business Bureau..They do NOT take I have called the Attorney General. They still continue to call.
I am at my wits end on this. They are continuing to harrass me, even as I write this.
I am ready to seek out a lawyer and sue them for the constant harrassment they are putting me through; the mental stress of answering my phone. Because I must answer it to have their phone # on my bill. They have taken, I guess, to call me from their home phones, because some of the time it is marked no number.
I know they are not using their right names: Amanda, Shelly, Vicky, John, etc.
Beware of signing forms on the internet---this nightmare could happen to you too! They are ripping me off of phone time and I have to pay when they call me.

I know that car salesmen are scumbags, but this ia bit hard to believe. 3-6 calls per day over the course of the last 7 months would total roughly 600 - 1200 calls.
This is incredibly hard to believe. At some point even these dirtbags finally get the message and move on. There's plenty of other suckers out there.
And the fact that you can't substantiate it with the incoming calls on the bill further lends suspicion to this post. How clever of them to make the calls from locations other than the dealer that would not show up on your bill.
I'm not sure if you're working on a scam, or you're just a nut case. It's probably both.
BTW, if you weren't buying, why were you contacting dealers for prices?. This in itself makes no sense at all.

And maybe write the attorney general in your state to let them know about it too.
You might call the chamber of commerce in Colonial's area and let them know what's going on. They don't like businesses that may make them look bad. They may be able to talk to the folks at Colonial or set up some kind of mediation.

Lynne I am a consumer Advocate on this web site and this is what i would do. If I wanted these Circus Clowns to stop calling me I would call VW at 1-800-822-8987
And make sure they understand your troubles with Colonial Volkswagon. Make sure they know that Rip Off Reports ARE NOT deleted. Make sure they know that what they do or do not do to STOP these Circus Clowns from calling you will be posted on your Rip Off Report as an update.
Print off a copy of your Rip-off Report and mail it to Volkswagon Send it to P.O. Box 3 Hillsbro OR 97123-003. Make sure that VW understands How one of their dealers is harassing you and you want it SOPED NOW.
I think it would be TOO COOL if you would post a picture of this dealer in on your Rip Off Report. That way everybody knows which dealer you are talking about. If you need more help at stopping these Circus Clowns, Please post a request for my help. I do have the ability to wake them up and see to it that their sales staff stop calling you. Post a request for my help and I will help you.
