Colorado Dept Of Labor & Employment-Unemployment Dept will not give me back 4 wks pay ($2,000) because they reset my account Denver, Colorado

I filled an unemployment claim when I was fianally approved I went on line to fill out the weekly form. After filling out the 2 weeks unemployment form it said I had to call Unemployment Customer Service to be unlocked/reset.

I called Unemployment, on hold for 2 hrs, the lady told me she did reset my account and I'm good to go. When I asked if I lost anything she replied NO, I then verified with her that I will still get my past 4 week checks. She applied YES.

When I didn't get my checks I again called, on hold for 4 hrs. When explained to her what happened, she said to bad when you're reset you loose everything before that. Didn't you read your booket? I asked for a Suprevisor and she told me one would call within 72 hrs. Of course no one did.

I called back several times. Called to lated and they cut me off, called back - they kept hanging up with talking to me, on hold one day for 6hrs only to be cut off. Finally almost a week later, I finally got someone.

This man heard my story and told me there was nothing in notes that a supervisor would call so he set it up again. I would recieve a call within 72 hrs. Then told me that there was nothing anyone could do even the surpervisor, that I should have read my book and to bad then hung up on me.

Because I couldn't get my unemployment I had to take it from my 401K. Now the IRS is hounding me for taxes and penalties for taking the money out early.
