I found the Colorado Rottweiler website and called Doug to discuss his puppies for sale. We discussed everything about his puppies and his experience breeding and showing dogs. I drove to Colorado from Rio Rancho, NM to one of the 3 breeding homes to select a female Rottweiler. He had many dogs in kennels behind this house and two puppies in his friends garage to choose from, we selected one and paid a $500 deposit and went home.

After a few day's Doug called me to inform us that the puppy we selected has a Heart problem and he couldn't sell it to me. So, I said that I would wait for another puppy and when I arrived at his home he had at least 20 Rottweilers in his garage of different ages. He led me to two little one and said they were sisters so I decided to purchase both them.

After a few day's I called Doug and left a message but he never call back so I sent an e-mail with no reply as well. I tried to contact Doug a few times after that but with no success. One of the females has been limping now and doesn't sit down correctly.

Now, I even wonder if these dogs have the same parents like Doug said or maybe he doesn't even have the parents and is making everything up since he has so many puppies to deal with.

I too came from Rio rancho, NM to get a puppy after months of asking for a picture, he sent me a pic that was taken a year prior to mine being born... (yes when you take a pic photo in preferences it not only dates and time stamps it it tells you what camerea was used), I got the same excuse from him regarding a grade 4 heart murmur, then a still born litter, then a vaccine reatcion.... I paid for a female with a contract and ended up with a male at the cost of my $500 deposit. However he charged my credit card pretty much after I left (held onto my # for 6 months) I had to sue him and just last week won $1788.48. Not to collect... His response (first I had ever received via email) was that he is now filing bankruptcy wink wink.....

If you search through comments on his facebook page people are crying out asking where is my puppy o refund?!
