I have no evidence that the Company itself was responsible for the events leading up to the mass firing of the "mismanagement" for the Southeastern Ohio District. What I do have is a bitter taste in my mouth over the actions of upper "mismanagement" at the district level.
I was one of those "ghost employees".
I quit working for them in '95 and received W2 forms for at least 3 years after that because they had been running money thru my name.
I am not sure who contacted any law enforcement officials, but I do know that, after warning the then current management, that I included a small note with my Federal Tax Return, that I no longer worked for this Company, and that they could interpret the $5,000 income on the W2 form that I received from Combined however they liked.
Next thing I know, Federal Marshalls, F.B.I. and every Law Enforcement Agency in three counties are looking for me. And to top that all off, the Company DOES still owe me money.
I have only read some of the reports related to them, I don't like the memories. All I can say is that from my perspective, things are as they should be.

#1 Consumer Suggestion
Not a good idea
AUTHOR: Nicole - (U.S.A.)

Hey Ghost - if you did something that has caused, or they think you did something, these people to be looking for you it may not be the best idea to be posting here. IP's (your computers address) are totally trackable and even if it's a public computer it still can help them find you. Not that I think it's ok to hide from them. If you've done nothing wrong they probably just want to talk to you about the company and their misuse of your name, no biggie. Well good luck with these guys, and I suggest you get in contact with the FBI ect, it's better not to hide from them (it makes it look like you have something to hide - unless you do). Peace and good life.
