Comcast - Comcastoffers $250.00 Rebate for $139.99 preferred plus bundle is a SCAM!!! VERY UPSET!! Internet

WOW COMCAST! I have been a loyal customer of theres for a total of 5 years. 2 years back in NJ and 3 here in Gerogia and this is what you do to LOYAL CUSTOMERS????? Ok, I had to disconnect my service and start new service because of the area I moved to. My old bundle was $114 plus $7 a month for HD service. Upon signing up for the new service the representative (Tamika, hopefully I spelled it right) told me that if I took the $139.00 bundle that I would receive a $250.00 gift card. OK, 1st off I did not receive a gift card but found out from the technician that came out that it is a rebate. I never received any paperwork regarding this rebate at ALL! I have called a total of 9 times in 48 hours regarding this entire order. It has been so screwed up that Im in a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 computer a 3 tvs but have 3 modems and 5 cable boxes. Lets not forget that they are charging for the extra boxes now. I called comcast about the rebate and was told by a representative by the name of Rashad that "its really more of a hassle than anything" and gave me a phone number to call. OK!! I called the number and it was just a 1-877 number back to comcast customer service. I then called back again to say forget the rebate and downgrade back to my regular service. I was then told that I couldnt if I wanted to keep my HD. ARE U SERIOUS RIGHT NOW???? So after giving him a tongue lashing he then gave me a website to sign the contract agreement and get the info on how to collect my rebate. Finally right? WRONG!!! WRONG!!! I entered my information and they say there is no records, with my new account and the old account number. The old account has been active since early 2008 and there is no record???? WOW comcast. So here I am promised a $250 visa gift card, actually has the service and has received nothing but comcast's hold music and messages. I have been aa loyal customer for 5 years, paid my bill on time just for this??? To be promised something I will never get? it's so messed up and I will be calling around to see how has a comparable deal because this I can't do! PLEASE DONT FALL FOR THIS, DO NOT SIGN UP FOR ANY BUNDLES AND DONT BELIEVE ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU ABOUT A GIFT CARD BECAUSE YOU WONT GET NOTHING BUT BS!!
