had home security from comcast but the system failed to w ork couples of times after calling for help.Had to drop but was charged big fee purchase home security from comcast in June 2013 w as told the price w ould be 29.95/month for 2 years and the 3rd year goes up to 39.95/month. In Dec 2013, my bill w ent up to 39.95/month only after 6 months. Called billing department and w as told there w as a mistake and got $10 credit. In Jan 2014, I w as billed $39.95 again, called billing department again and w as told that I did not qualify for w hatever promotion offered anymore. I explained to them I got this service in June 2013 and w as offered promotion price mentioned previously, no one cares and Comcast just w ant me to pay. They keep saying different things, same w / my internet monthly fee. Every bill I got, they either double charge me for one item or add some extra fees that shouldnt be mine. 01/28/2014, the system stopped w orking again, called customer solution and w as told they cannot arm the system on their end either. I w as sooo angry as this w as not the first time and there is no point to keep a home security system that cannot be armed to protect the place. I requested technician help and the earliest one they can do is 3 days later!!! Horrible customer support and w rap system. I w as so disappointed but have to choice to cancel the service w as told I have to pay $900 early termination fee. They claimed that there w as no technician over to my place to diagnose the issue but w hats the point of having someone over after 3 days w ith a system not w orking? I asked to talk to a supervisor but that rep blocked me from talking to a supervisor, then said there w as no one available.
On 02/01/2014, I w ent to a service center to return equipment for home security. I brought in everything but w as told the system show s that I rented a modem from Comcast that I shud return as w ell. Ridiculous that they only gave me a router, I bought the modem by myself, how does the system w ork? Every time w hen I w as overcharged, I had to over-pay first then get the credit back on the next bill. The credit didnt apply real-time. Not to mention how many times I have been cut off the line w hen talking to customer service rep. One common excuse they used a lot is that the sale rep told me the w rong info and they felt sorry, but I still have to accept w hatever price they put on my bill
