He stated I had to pay him up front at time of receiving a permit. He came to my house and said he received a permit and took down my fairly new aluminum screen room I had up and took it to a aluminum recylcilng center for cash. He never showed back up after that day when I paid him and he took down the existing porch. I took him to court but he claims bankruptcy and changes business names. I am out about $10,000. Please beware of him and his wife. Please let me know if anyone has a successful case against him. Sanford Florida

Stephen and Diane Ferrando are ripping people off all over Florida and North Carolina.  They keep changing names.  Go to sunbiz.org there are over 6 company names for them.  One is still active.

I hired him to build an addition for my house.  I wanted to add to my value as he said it would.  He showed up to collect money to do the drawings then set a draw up to collect at permitting.  He came to my house with a fake permit approval and said he had it so I wrote him the check. He then sent someone to tear down my existing alulminum room to sell then I never saw him again.  I got the usual oh its raining, other job in the way, I'll be there tomorrow, etc. etc. etc...never showed up.

Now he is out of business as Comfort Rooms and operating as Got Sizzle LLC.  If anyone else has been successful in receiving money back please advise.  I am out about $10k
