Commerical Maintenance Chemical Corp CMC Chemical Hard Sell/Unethical Tactics & Unordered Product Farmingdale, New York

In August 2010 a Rick Thompson from CMC Chemical contacted our Maintenance Supervisorand told him that our company had attended a sales seminar and wanted him to try out their products. Of course this was a total fabrication.

However he was very new to the company and did not think to question why the information was not coming from his immediate supervisor and accepted the order.

Subsequently in January 2011 this company attempted to deliver two 5 gallon buckets to the property which the Site Manager declined to accept. This resulted in her being called by a Jim Spears (866-439-9036) who threatened her with penalties that would be assessed by UPS for leaving hazmat material in their warehouse for more than 48 hours.

Therefore I called Mr. Spears the following day and told him to never make contact with our company again. At that point he attempted to convince me that he was a UPS Claims Manager and was simply following up on a claim that was filed. Specifically, that they had supposedly not delivered all of the requested product in August 2010.

However, upon googling the telephone number I found this report on ripoffreports website and realized they were looking for other ways to scam our company.
