I purchased a Monitor from Mr. Stern. The Monitor was damaged upon arrival. My husband received the package and paid the UPS person with a Certified Bank Check. the order was C.O.D.
We informed UPS that the item was damaged, the same day after opening it. We also tried to contact Mr. Stern at his place of business. His phones were not working, or no one was answering them. I then tried to contact him between the two email addresses he has, and both emails bounced back to me. I tried to contact him several times since and can not seem to find an email address that works. No one answers his phone. We paid for this monitor, and then UPS reimbursed him because the monitor was damaged. They did not pay us, they paid him. He never sent our check back to us. It was only in the amount of $45.75 so the lesson was not too expensive, but who knows how many people he has done this to? His home page seems to have an auction, and a couple of different pages.His home page boasts of auction, basket, checkout, and contact us. Yeah Right!!! Just try to contact us.

Comp-recycle is the online store. "The Computer Store" is an actual storefront business location owned and operated by the same shady character.
The name has changed but its still the same bad business practice online and storefront.
'The Computer Store' can't be found on rippoff report yet. I'm waiting to file my report on his new company until my small claims suit is over. Which I doubt he will even appear. Good luck getting my $1600.00 back..... right.....

This is what happens when you screw people Darrell or Bob whatever your name is. This would have been avoided if you didn't make the mistake of screwing over the wrong techy nerd.
