Comp USA, GoodGuys False Advertising, Bait & Switch, Ripoff Liars Roseville, Citrus Heights California

Per the ad in the Sacramento Bee, I went to the new Comp USA / Good Guys store in Roseville to buy a Yamaha RXV 550 A/V Receiver for $199.00.

I got there and the Guy said they never had any of those, that I had to go to a Good Guys store. They had another model that was advertised but they were asking $50.00 more then the advertised price. I pointed to the sign that said "Good Guys" and the store manager said that they weren't really a Good Guys, I would have to go to the real Good Guys Store on Sunrise.

So I went to the store on Sunrise. They said that they were sold out. I asked for a rain check and he said no. I reviewed the advertisement with the employee and noted that it did not say that quantities were limited or have any other disclaimer and again asked if I could get a rain check. He said he could try to order one but there was virtually no chance of getting it as there are only 21 left for 72 stores. I said if there are 21 left why don't I pay for one now and pick it up later. Again a big fat NO.

This company is the biggest lying, cheating, thieving, useless store I've ever done business with BEWARE.
