I signed up for a personal trainer on March 29, 2013, expecting to receive two training sessions per week for one year. However, I never received a call to set up the appointments, and when I went to the gym to inquire about setting up the sessions, I was told that I needed to wait for someone to call me.

I never got a call, so I canceled the membership on April 10th, and was told that I would receive a refund. On May 2nd I received a call from a third-party collector who said she was calling about my May payment. I then sent an email to Compel fitness through their website. On May 7th, my roommate, who canceled her membership at the same time, forwarded me an email that stated that we were upset for not getting the service we paid for, and wanted a refund. Someone confirmed that the cancellation was done, and we were told that we would receive a check in the mail.

I have called them repeatedly and been left on hold or transferred to someone who could always take a message and have someone get back to me, but I still have not been contacted or received a check.
