I found a $12 charge on my Discover card from completesavings.com. I noticed that another $12 charge was on last month's bill too. I've never heard of completesavings.com. I've seen similar complaints about them from people who ordered from Pizza Hut, but I have never done that. I have no idea how they got my credit card number or what service they are supposedly providing.
I called the 800 number on my bill, 800-826-2885 to cancel the charge. The man asked my name and zip code, which I provided. Then he asked for my street address to "confirm my identity". I refused to give any more information since I didn't know anything about the company except that they had put unauthorized charges on my credit card. So he refused to help me. I contacted Discover and disputed the charge.
I visited the website www.completesavings.com and was surprised to find that one of their services is "credit card fraud". Amazing.
