I contacted Computer Finance, LLC to update the checking account they have on file for me. I had been allowing Computer Finance to automatically issue a draft to my bank so that there was no error in there receipt of payment. The check book for my previous checking account was stolen. So I had to place a freeze on the old account.

I called Computer Finance to give them the updated information and I even explained to the "not customer friendly" service representative, Greg the situation. He was all to happy to accept the new checking account number and asked if I wanted the check to be dated for the same day, the 18th of each month. I said yes then he tells me that I can't use the same date because there computers were not able to accomodate the information. I explained that my account has been drafted on the same date for the past year and because I am on disability I am not at liberty to change the dates.

I was then told there was nothing that he or anyone there could do for me. So I told him I felt Computer Finance was punishing me for the inadequacy of their computer system. I explained changing the dates was impossible because I was on a fixed income.

At that point I told him I would just mail it. He told me that I would receive a late charge. I said but the account is not late. And he said it did not matter I would still receive a late charge. And I asked why? He said because it was going to be late. So basically they are not willing to accept the new checking account with the same date and telling me if I mail it I will definitely get a late charge.

So I explained that not accepting the date and telling me I can't mail a payment is forcing me to accept their conditions and that is not right. To that he replied "that is not our fault we didn't tell you to change your account number."

By this time I was livid and I told him I no longer wished to continue the conversation with him and I wished to speak to a supervisor. He told me "No this call does not need a supervisor." I demanded a supervisor and then he began yelling at me like I was a child. Then he passed the call to another representative, Joyce Wolf, and I told her I would like to speak with the supervisor. S

he tells me the supervisor had left the building for lunch. I asked for a name which she hesitated in giving. I said you must have another supervisor on the floor. She said they did not.

I am curious! What company would have any customer service representative without a supervisor or assistant supervisor available at all times? It does not appear that is very likely. I asked when the "alleged" supervisor Ambrose would be returning from lunch she said she would check. Then when she puts me on hold the "Unprofessional Greg" returns and tells me Ambrose is heading to an interview and would return my call later. I asked for a phone for Ambrose Madrill and after I received it disconnected my call.

I should have known something was wrong. No matter how many payments they receive each month the balance appears to be the same. Once Computer Finance LLC took the liberty of paying themselves an extra payment from my checking account. Or how about the fact that they charged my a late fee and they had credited my account with my payment on the day it was due.

I am still waiting for the late fee credit to appear on my statement. I have been waiting approximately 6 months. Or how about the fact that my account number is shown directly above my name, on the mailing address when they mail me statements. This company is not right. I will not be suggesting any part of Gateway to anyone there service is atrocious.

I am so mad and disgusted with the entire situation.
