As a former employee of Condo Exchange, I know all the tactics.
ALL of the money they make is up front, off of a credit card or a check.
They do not have an active sales department, as they claim to.
They are a licensed TELEMARKETING company. Nothing more.
Timeshares are not easy to sell, no matter how they are marketed, and Condo Exchange does not even market them in the way they promise.
Interval International and RCI banking companies do not allow the sale of banked weeks to 3rd parties. C.E. will still charge you to rent them out, but it will not happen.
If anyone wants to sell your timeshare, with no upfront or 'at time of service' cost, then let them do it.
Never pay up front to get a 'sure thing'. No one ever has a 'buyer waiting' for your timeshare. If they did, they would buy it themselves and resell it for a profit.
Condo Exchange is a scam, and on one of the testimonials they have up, it is a lie.
Wayne and Velma Hansen did not get several offers, and I took their testimonial, which was then altered by Jean Frederick, therefore making it false. Once she falsified it they refused to sign it.
Do Not Deal with Condo Exchange. They are a 'take your money up front, put you on a website, and forget about you' company.
