I have been attempting to get my our cobra accounts setup since July 12th, 2009. Since I am on Medicare, my husband was eligible for the stimulis but I wasnt. I called to ask how we were to fill in the application and was told that I needed to request a seperate account for my medical only...so thats what I did.

On July 14th I sent them another e-mail requesting a seperate account nmber because they set it up with only him being covered for medical. On July 20th
I received a response from them saying it was setup correctly with only him being covered..the person that told me to send a letter requesting a seperate account for myself failed to tell me that I still had to request joint coverage.

Again on July 20th I responded with the correct acct number asking them to correct the paperwork(I even took the blame at that point for misunderstanding what I was never told).

Finally on July 27th I received an e-mail saying they had setup a seperate number for me but of course now they had my first name spelled incorrectly, even though every e-mail I sent was sent with my full first name. I then requested that they fix that since I didnt want to pay an account with an incorrest name.
Finally on July 29th I receive an e-mail that had my full first name correct so I proceeded to go in and setup my account, well once again when I got halfway done they again had my name wrong!!
I placed a call into thenumber they give you on correspondence that states"If you have any questions please contact one of our FRIENDLY customer service representatives at 877-864-****. What a joke.
The lady that I finally spoke to said go ahead set up the auopay as the account number will not change, she proceeeded to tell me they will take your payment on August 1st and you are all set...WRONG
Monday Aug 3rd, I spent about 4 hrs on the phone I spoke to 5 different representatives and was given different advise and different stories from 4 of them...the 5th person I spoke to was a supervisor who basically told me tough but there was nothing he could do that 1 of the reps had already sent an e-mail to the correct deptartment and it could take 24 to 72 hours before I hear back. Well that is all fine and dandy except when you have had surgery 10 days prior and need medications and follow up appts.

uesday August 4th, I am again back on the phone checking to see if all was done as they had promised to my dismay I still had no coverage. I spoke to Roberto at 11:20 who was the 1st perason that was helpful, he stayed on with me while I made the 1 time payment then he sent an e-mail to accounts telling them it was urgent and needed processing immediately, I told him they had 2 hours and I would call back in 2 hours and see if all was done.
After 1 hour I called back and spoke to Tanikwa who was also willing to help and she sent them another e-mail expressing the urgency as I had a Dr appt in 2 hrs.
Well I spoke to Cigna who is our carrier and they told me that Conexis had failed to send them my account seperately from my husbands and they could do nothing till that was done.

When I spoke to the supervisor MR. Thompson again, I was very upset, I told him what Cigna said and he denied they did anything wrong. I asked him to correct the info and he stated that his dept. couldnt do that and that the area that does was gone for the day...at that point I stated have you taken my money? he replied yes, so I told him then he better take find someone to straighten this out immediately I had a prescription that is 3 days late already due to their errors. He basically blew me off so I hung up, had a cry and then got even madder and decided to write this complaint. I have ended another day without my meds...who knows how much longer this is going to take!!!!
