I called the company to acquire health insurance for my college student son.  They told me I had to have my son on the phone due to privacy matters.  We had a three way and I agreed to purchase a plan.  The agent told me that I had to get off of the phone while they did a verification with my son.  When I was off of the phone they advised my son that there would be an additional $100.00.  My son told the agent that he could not authorize that.  The agent told my son that they would not submit the plan until they spoke with me.  They never spoke with me and charged me anyway overdrafting my account.  We got it straightened out and they promised me within thirty days I would get a refund.  In my waiting for the thirty days to come they drafted more money out of my account.  Mind you I never received any mail from them, no health plan cards or anything.

Company must be a scam

I am not sure if I will ever see my $336.00 This company has told me several different things.  One told me my money was reversed back to my account on the 23rd of April, One told me it was mailed out,  two told me on different occassions that it had not gone out  and that they would send it out the next day.  But I have not received my any of my monies back.

I still have not been able to get the money back for my light bill and they are about to cut my lights off.  The bank took my work check to cover these charges on my account.  There has got to be something that I can do.  How can a company take my money unauthorized and without even giving me a product.  I never received even a letter from this company, no health insurance card, nor has my son.

To the company I would appreciate if you would stop lying and telling me my refund was sent out or will be sent out.  I really need my money back and am going to do what ever I have to to get back.   I am on disability and work very part time and need my money.  You can not take people's money like that.

Still more problems with Congressional Health

I have still not received my funds from Congressional Health.  I finally got the company to listen to the initial phone call and they realized that the charges were not authorized.  The bank and I did a three way with them and the company promised the would reverse the charges on my account and the money would be back in my account by that Friday needless to say it was not and it is still not and it is Tuesday.

When I called the person I spoke with said the money had been sent by mail, I said it was not suppose to be sent by mail it was suppose to be reversed back to my card, she then said well if it was suppose to be reversed give it a few days.  When she realized I was upset, she said hold on and then came back and said oh they reversed those charges on Friday so it should be at your bank and it is up to them to process.

I of course called the bank and they advised me that Congressional Health did not reverse the charges back to my account.  I have on my cell phone nineteen times I have called this company and saved the number to my phone and now I get the number you dialed can not go through as dialed, meaning the number does not exist.  I believed I have been scammed and ripped-off and the worst part is I have no product from this company.  Never received any card package not even a letter.  So they have $336.00 of my money that I will probably never see again and I am on disability and work making very little part time and my son still has no health insurance.
