Conns Appliances Salesman or someone in store used wife's info on their computers and either let someone buy a TV from the west end store. they want us to pay for what we didn't buy. We aint payin.. Beaumont, Texas

We have been dealing with Conns for about 21 years. We never have purchased something and did not pay for it. About 8 months ago we started receiving calls from Conns about an account pass due on a flat screen tv. At the time we did not own a flat screen tv. So we asked them for the account # and checked it against our records.(yes we DO keep records) Of course we did not have the account as i knew we wouldn't. So the next time they called, i told them that the account was not ours and immediately they got attitude and started saying that they would call and call until it was paid. My wife got so stressed out behind it that i went to the store to find out who made the sale and was told he didn't work there anymore. Wrote a letter to conns corporate and heard nothing. Finnaly my wife could stand it no more. They sent a letter stating that if we paid $257.00 of 967.00 the account would be closed. So my wife made me pay it and i did even though i was tottaly against it. We thought that was the end of it. Two weeks later the calls started again. So when i asked about the reason we were called they said it was for another account! These d**n people are crooks and are running a scam! So i told them they could kiss my a**! They wasn't getting s**t!!
