I Purchased a 1999 S80 Volvo on 09-20-10 from MathhewOmary AKA Mahir Omary owner of Consignment Auto Sales. I financed $7,199.39 after making a cash down payment of $2,000.00
Three days after I picked up my vehicle I noticed that the engine light was on. I took the car to the auto repair shop. I was told that my Fuel injectors needed to be replaced and could no longer drive the car because I could blow the engine. I called Mr. Omary and was told by him just to drive the car and that it would be fine. Iignored his advice.
Three weeks later, the car had been fixed but upon my arrival I was informed of other various problems. the 02 senor, Master air flow and Radiator needed to be replaced and the car has a serious oil leak. I was not given a copy of the smog certificate as required by law. because of these problems the car couldn't and did not pass smog.
I also took the car to the tire shop, the two front tires were bald andbubblesin the two back tires. The suspension needed to be realigned, brake booster, brakes and rotators were bad.
I received the registration papers from DMV and I was overcharged and overpaid the registration by a $152.00. I called Credit West Finance company and requested a refund. but I wastold to call the dealership.
I filed a small claims suit against Consignment Auto Sales, After he was served. I was served by his Repo man on 12-10-10 for not paying the down payment, which is stupid I have the recipt. He told me that he was going to do something to one of my vehicles. Mr. Omary knows that I drove a 2005 Ford Taurus. but he did not know that it is registered to my girlfriend and on 12-13-10 she broke down near her home. The hoses to the transmission had been pulled and cut. A police report was filed on this incident and a security system has been installed on the car.
Do not but a car from this dealership, it could cost you your life.
