Consolated Media Servies Tryed to get my credit card number Tricked and lied to me Atlanta Georgia

On Saturday, January 25th 2003. I recieved a phone call from this company and they told me that I won a watch and I was in a drawing for $50,000. They also told me that I was going to get 4 magazines for free not thinking that they would bill me for it.

Well, the girl on the phone was nice to me and told me that she was new with the company and she was going to have her supervisor call me to conferm the call.

About 5 minutes later this guy named Lee called me and talked to me telling me all that I had free. Then he that I had to pay $59.99 for 48 magazines with PC Magazine and I couldnt hear what he was saying to me. Well, then he asked me for my exp. date on my credit card and then my number. After that I got off the phone with him, my boyfriend told me I shouldn't have gave my credit card over the phone and I should call and have my card cancelled. So I did that.

On Monday the 27th they called me what me to conferm my address and I didnt want to be bugged. So I told them to leave me alone. They called every 15 minutes starting about 7:45 in the morning and lasting until 5 or 6pm. I would turn my cell phone off so I could ingore them.

Well, this went in all Tuesday and on Wednesday I had about enough at this point. I called my wireless dealer and had my number changed and then I discovered from the internet that they were scam artist and alot of people are having problems too.

Tomorrow is the 30th and I am going to call the FBI in the morning. If anyone reads this I suggest you to call the FBI too. I know that it might now work, but it will show them that we are trying to get this to stop. If these people add me to the collection agency I am going to take them to court.
