I was contacted by Consolidated Media Service about magazine subscriptions and a free gift (that I never received) for trying it out. It was free trial type of thing, you had a certain amount of days to cancel your subscription at no cost and keep your free gift. After a few days of thinking it over I decided to cancel, but it was too late. I was stuck paying the bill because they could not cancel my subscription, since they paid it in full.
Like a sucker I paid because I was scared of being sued. I never knew my rights as a buyer.
They neglected to tell me that the total cost of my subscriptions, which was $700.
The subscriptions were supposed to be for more than a year, but it was not. I am already receiving renewal notice from the magazine company themselves.
I am not receiving all the magazines I should for that cost!
