I've been reading some of the letters about the Las Vegas lie about Tahiti Village these people should be stoped. I was tricked and lie to when my wife and I went to vegas. We were told about the great deal we were getting the 6 free vacations anywhere ,the extra week we would get,and how easy it would be to get out if any problems came up, after seeing that we couldn't get the free trips or get a place that was at the same standards that we had purchased we called them and told them this was not going to work and we wanted so sell back our investment to them ,they then told us we can't sell it back to them because they don't buy them back , when I told them our seals rep. told us it wouldn't be a problem they got very rud and hung up.
I am willing to get help from anyone to get out of this mess.

Your in a tough spot

I also bought into Tahiti Village. I also won 7 "free" trips. I actually used the Tahiti Trip...GREAT TRIP.

In vegas, you only have x amount of days to retract your purchase, after that, it's a done deal.

As for the" free" trips you were promised, they come through Holiday Adventures, I would contact Consolidated Legal Department. I had to use them on a broken promise with the trips and I won

For the "free" trips, you have 2 options (trips are for 2 adults only)

1) Use their lowest non-promotional airfare and you stay at the hotel for free.
2) do not use their airfare and pay $32.00 per night plus tax, usually around 11%
upgrades and, at times, all inclusive can be added for an additional fee.

All in all, not a bad deal, but homework needs to be done on the airfare, their rates are not that great!
Good Luck

Thanx for telling me about this Rip-Off!

I have been hearing about come to Tahiti Village Resorts for FREE of Charge on some of my favorite late night radio shows for the longest.

First, it was some sexy babe who used to be a James Bond girl, Tanya Roberts and now it is Roseanne, I think. She's not sexy but she is loud and she is funny. I am wondering after her lousy talk show tanked what had happened to her and I am wondering is she is the "hot show on the strip" that tahiti village guests will get.
Man, you couldn't GIVE me tickets to her show. I would rather see Carlos Menchia, Lewis Black, Dave Chappelle,Chris Rock and any other comic but her!

I thought about calling the telephone number that was put out on the air but I decided that there had to be something wrong with it since Vegas used to have all of these Mafia and "Mob" connections and I grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana where I am familiar with how they do business.

I know how it used to work in New Orleans but Vegas scares me. Like New Jersey would if I ever went there. Especially Sicily.

So you are one of the people who really went there for free? Or not.

The radio commercials I heard for Tahiti Village promised "three days and two nights stay in VEGAS " and you don't pay a dime for it." And they would comp you for a hot show on the Strip --"high roller treatement, baby!"

Like all you have to do is hang out in a lounge and get pale and puffy and that is "cool"? Only in Vegas, I guess.

You were supposed to call a toll-free number too to get this wonderful trip to paradise.

Maybe you go there and if you don't lose your a*s gambling in the casino, they trhow you out because they are trying to induce you by any means necessary to gamble away your entire life savings. Which kind of contradicts the basic premise.

HIGH ROLLERS AREN'T GOING TO BE INTO DOING VEGAS ON THE CHEAP.

Not only that, people who can't afford to come to Vegas any other way will NOT be able to afford gambling. I was amazed when I heard that ad that the streets around here didn't empty from all of the homeless people who would be flocking to tahiti village for FREE... Maybe homeless people don't listen to the same radio shows I did.

So I guess what happened when these people from tahiti village tried to get you there that they would pressure you into buying time shares you will never have the time to use and that sort of thing??????

Anyhow, I didn't think it would be a good deal to go even though the two pitchladies or spokesladies made it sound super!

Thanks for proving my suspicions correct.
