Occasionally I search the Internet for my DBA name, to see where it is used.
I came across these postings and wanted to set the record straight.
Steve and I had some personal issues, for which the last one got resolved this year. I can understand why he thinks that I wrote the original complaint here. We had some harsh words towards each other.
On a business standpoint, Steve is one of the best, if not the best, at what he does. He and his crew infuse the colors and feel of the existing property into their finished product. He did my personal house inside, and I hired him to do
my parents countertops. Steve has overlayed thousands of square feet at various projects of mine. The perspective buyers were always impressed by his work.
I would highly recommend him for any of your construction needs, especially anything to do with concrete, and concrete overlay.

The person making this FALSE report is David Burg of Homepro123 and he was a former partner in flipping houses. We are now competitors and he is jealious of my success.

The FACT is there is no concrete overlay on his patios at his house. Look at his website at www.homepro123.com ....click on videos and #9 is his house. Watch the video and you will see no concrete overlay on his patios. You can also look at videos 1 through 8 and see some great work I did on the flips we worked on together.

If friends don't count for reviews (which most my clients have become my friend) then certainly enemies and competitors don't count either.

Stop harassing me David or I will bring you up on charges.

Also, anyone looking at this should look at the reviews for Ripoff Report...

2 obvious friends vouching for you doesnt count.

So you dont work when its below 80? And dont repair your problem until 80+? That seem like a lot of days a year you dont work. Customer is suposed to wait how long?

As said before, you blame everything but your product or installers. If the weather isnt right, dont do the job. What do you do in winter, not work?

Steve Jansen called me soon after learning about this rip off report. I gladly offered to submit my testimonial right away. The great thing about the internet is the accessibility of information. The bad part is that anyone can write anything, and in effect, slander and defame someones reputation (or at least attempt to) in a matter of minutes. It seems very cowardly to me that A.W. would not even write his/her full name, yet has no problem accusing not just Stoneworks and Construct Unlimited, but Steve Jansen by full name as well.

For 7+ years now, Ive hired Steve Jansen (Stoneworks Concrete) for concrete overlays on my driveway, walkway, porch, interior entry, interior kitchen floor, kitchen countertop, patio countertop and multi-level patio. Steve has always been professional, on time and has produced quality workmanship instantly adding value to my home at a fraction of the cost of normal (expensive) material.

I have also checked around through the years and there are other companies out there. But Steve is by far the most knowledgeable and experienced, and seems to set standards that other overlay companies only keep trying to follow.

I have hired Steve Jansen and his company, Stoneworks, to perform several concrete jobs over the past ten years.  He has done both interior and exterior concrete overlays (including patio, kitchen and bathrooms) for two properties which have enhanced their value exponentially. 

In fact, Steve did such a fantastic job on our former home, it drove a bidding war which helped us sell for a higher price that we had hoped. Steve and his workers have been great to work with and have always performed their work professionally.

 Stoneworks has no contracts with anyone with the initials A.W. in the last few months. If this was a real complaint the person would know that we only do repairs when the temperature is above 80 degrees and the weather is cooperating. In the last few months it was rainy, cold or windy. Any and all repairs that we need to do are completed when the weather is cooperating.
We have been in business for 22 years and installed more than 1.5 million square feet of overlay with thousands of satisfied customers. As for the license suspension the Contractor's Board has made a mistake with bonding issues and will be cleared soon. If for some reason this is a legitimate complaint call me (Steve Jansen) at 818-606-9559 to rectify this problem.
