Construct Unlimited Stoneworks Botched Concrete Overlay / Owner Not Found For Small Claims Lawsuite Canyon Country, California

About ten years ago, "Construct Unlimited" did a concrete overlay on my back patio with a warranty.  A few years later,  the concrete had to be repaired and resealed due to cracking and pieces breaking off.  Some time after that, the concrete shifted upwards and cracked again.  This time the owner, Steve Jansen, refused to rectify the situation.  When I attempted to sue him in small claims court, he could not be found for the purpose of being served by the sheriff's department.  We eventually ended up in state arbitration.  Here's the interesting part, even though the expert witness clearly presented evidence in my favor, the arbitrator still ruled against me.  I wonder if the two may have been acquainted?  Anyway, the bottom line here is, do yourself a favor and go with someone else.  Anybody who can't be found for a lawsuite has something to hide.......
