We hired Construction Masters to put a new roof on the house due to hail damage from a storm. They put the roof on, told us they were finished, this was Sat., August 9th.

Rained that night. Got up Sunday morning and there were leaks all through the house. Contacted one of the owners, Rick Donarie, he sent someone out and we showed him all the leaks in the house.

He knew where it was leaking because he told us that he forgot to put flashing in the joint where two parts of the roof meet. Covered with tarp. Was told that the owner & salesman would be out Monday. They never showed.

Wednesday, worker showed up,temporarily patched roof. Another worker showed up that does dry wall work for them. He said they would take all the wet dry wall & insallation out, replace them and retexture the ceilings (complete ceilings in each room).

We emptied rooms, They didn't show so we put things back. On Monday, August 25th, We called and talked to one of the owners, Rick, and told him that nobody has shown up to fix anything yet. He referred us to the other owner, Mac.

Talked to him and set up for him and a crew to come fix everything on Sat., August 30th. We pulled everything out of the rooms again. They showed up Sat. late with no materials. Started pulling ceiling down in one room, didn't seal room off and got dirt and insallation through out the house.

Went to other room, where two other workers were working, and they were just going to paint the ceiling and not replace the ceiling where the dry wall was wet.

Told them to stop, not to do that. Went back into the other room and told the guy in there to call Mac, the owner, to come back to the house because we wanted to talk to him. They couldn't get a hold of him.

They had finished patching the dry wall they had pulled down. In the mean time the other two workers left. The guy trying to get a hold of Mac came to me and said he had to let the mud dry, so he was going to go to his house and he would be back in an hour and half.

Hour and half later, Mac showed up and the two workers. Mac accused me of kicking the other two guys off the job. Told him that was not true. That is when he started yelling and screaming and pounding on the truck.

Was trying to explain but he wouldn't let me talk. He got up within inches of my face, yelling, screaming, calling me names. Kept trying to explain to him that the job needed to be done right and not paint over the damaged dry wall.

He told the other workers to pick up all their equipment and pulled them off the job. Still ranting and raving and threatening wanted in writing would pay full amount when job was completed. I said that was not a problem.

Started in the house, he told his workers to stop packing up that they would be going back to work. Went in house, wrote out paper, signed it. Walked back outside, and they were all gone.

I have never seen anybody out of control like he was. And really thought that he was going to jump me. We have not heard from them since

Construction Masters (Lonny-Alma,Arkansas)

To Whom it may concern,

Also to let you know this guy Mac or Maro Croff is a Con-Artist and that is also the reason why he has had several differnt names with his company.

And if it might help any he is a member of the mason's in alma arkansas and I think that they would really like to know what kind of person he is and the things he does.

From what I know of the mason's it's really hard to become a member and they would more than likely kick him out if they knew of his scam's and what he does.

Thanks

Lonny or who it may concern,

I have delt with construction masters before and I know what kind of company

they are. He has had several different company names because of smiliar problems

and I have worked with him and for him. I own my own company and am local.

Mac or shall I say Maro Croff is his real name took over $15,000.00 from my

company and basically you could say the food off my families table. The reason

I'm writing this is to let Lonny know and anyone else is that Construction Masters

is not a Licensed Contractor with the State of Arkansas nor is he anywhere else.

You need to check up on all companies and make sure they are all legal or are Insured for your protection as well as references or Members of the BBB.
