Ed Wagner, Accountant Executive, "sold" us 37, 609 email addresses for our marketing of our real estate rentals and sales. Consumer BAse were to deploy three different HTML marketing emails which would amount to a total of some 37, 609 x 3 = 112, 827 individual messages spread over 7 different cities (Houston, Houston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Phoenix, New York, Denver).
We did not receive a single response from these deployments. We paid $800.- in advance.
We have on previous occasions engaged similar companies for deployment of 3-5, 000 individual messages and have received return response of some 3-5% directly from the addressees.
We believe that Consumer Base have deceived us and sold us addresses that either are non existent or that are old and have no validity. We have requested a refund but receive no response. Ed Wagner who spoke to us almost on a daily basis for two months during the preliminary preparations have refused to return our calls.
