Today I recieved a letter from Consumer First Credit Platinum Card. It promises a credit line of 5,000.00 with 0% APR for 12 months. They ask for a onetime fully refundable fee of 45.00 for membership purposes and 49.00 for rush processing. The letter is sighned by a Robert Stevens. I was completely ready to sign up for this card, having just been turned down by other companys I was happy to recieve a guaranteed approval. I went online for no other reason but to look up the company and see if they offered online sign up. What a found was a list of rip off reports. Dozens of people who had recieved the same letter as I did, with the same promises under multiple company names. They pointed out something that I did not notice. Nowhere in this letter does a major credit symbol appear(Visa, Master Card ect...) I am positive that these reports saved me from getting ripped off. I'd like to say thank you to all those that filed reports on this page. And good luck in winning your cases against this fradulant company.
