I was contacted by this copany after filling out a form online to find health insurance, since mine from work was going to expireon the 31st of January. I dont remember the woman name but I told her of mine and my husbands pre-existing conditions and of the medications that we both have to take on a regular basis. She ask me what kind of meds we take and told me that the co-pay was 10, 25, and 50. She never told me about the 4th teir which is where you get a discount from participating providers. I even went as far as telling her all of my meds, the strength, and amount taken per day. This woman told me that all of my were in the 10.00 range, since I take 9 per day I thought well this is a great deal then. She went on and on about how she uses this plan and it is great and it would save me money at the doctor, and to get new glasses. I dont remember her ever telling me that the first payment was non-refundable. I got he information and when I started to look at it, I am thinking this isnt right that it is saying this is not insurance and she told me it was. Then I got the book out to find out what my meds would cost me and I found out that one of mine was in the 25.00 teir, and one in the 50.00 teir and then I found out about the fourth teir. I called my pharmacy to find out that at best they would give me a 25% discount with this card. They told me that the one of my perscriptions that cost 264.99, they would charge me 215.00 for it. At that point I said this isn't going to pay for itself. I have tried and tried to contact a real person and have never yet been able too. I sent them a fax and told them to cancel it and dont take anymore money out of my account and asked that someone call me to confirm that it was done and I am still waiting for that call, that was 4 days ago. I went to my bank and put a dispute on it and my bank is working with me to stop them from taking any more of my money. They need to be stopped, they lie to desperiate people that need health coverage and take what little money we have. It is the biggest rip off I have seen and I hope that charges are filed against them and that they have to pay big time.
